Farell nodded, then turned and ran down the street towards the club where he would apparently find Barraca...bursting through the door, he looked around wildly and saw his quarry sitting by an open window in the corner....

Elathain ran torward the sound of Farells voice. It seems as though he was going to kill somone, and hired a mercenary to help him. Elathain ran towards him as fast as his elven legs would carry him.

Barraca rose instantly when he saw Farrel burst in.
'What did I tell you Farrel?, you must now pay the price for your betrayal.'
Farrel was out of breath
'But...but...Barraca, she's a Vampire' 'What!' Roared the Pirate Lord 'First you betray me, and now you try to sully the name of my love. You will pay the ultimate price for this my old friend'
Barraca drew his blade and advanced on Farrel, 3 men also drew weapons and advanced behind Barraca.
The first pistol shot brings everything in the club to a halt, Farrel stands pistol smoking, One of Barraca’s men lies dead on the floor.
With that Barraca charged cutting his way through a man standing between him and Farrel. With a brutal swing Barraca brings his sword whistling towards Farrel’s head which is desperately parried. Both men strain under the force as Barraca tries to force his sword down, then suddenly in one fluid motion Barraca slips a long knife from the strapping on his leg and thrusts it into Farrel’s side. Barraca was one of the greatest blades men in the Old World, they veteran captain stood no chance.
Farrel gasps and staggers back but instantly Lucas steps up glaive swinging in a deadly arcs. One of Barraca’s men raises his pistol but Barraca holds out his hand.
'No. I have no problem with this man, I have had my revenge. Take your friend out of here Bretonnian, he can bleed to death in the street'.

Elathain ran down the street with his arrow notched into his bow. He saw the bretonian that he met earlier helping Farell up. There was a man standing there laughing at him. 'Better see whats going on.' thought Elathain. He ran up with his arrow pointed at the man. "What has happened here human?! Tell me quickly unless you wish to lose the control of your sword arm!" Elathain demanded, as he took aim for his arm.

The man laughed at the Elf.
'I'd put that stupid weapon down if you know whats good for you Elf' 'Who done this' Asks Elathain ignoring the comment. 'Lord Barraca, but he's gone off to make sure his woman is ok. He's goin soft' The man and friend laughed again. 'And you work for Barraca' 'Yeh, course I do' scoffed the man. 'Then it is you that shall pay the price for this' whispered Elathain.
He notched two arrows into his bow and fired, one arrow took the man that had been speaking in the throat but the other only caught the second man in the chest, as the man fell against the wall of the club he drew his pistol and fired hitting the Elf in his already injured leg before sliding down the wall and passing out.
Elathain screamed in agony.
Lucas caught Elathain before he fell, and sighed as he persuaded a passer by to help him get both of them back to the ship.
'They owe me big time for this' he muttered.

Farell awoke to the sound of shouting. When he opened his eyes he saw the direction of the shouting. It was Diego, yelling at the bretonnian. The gist was something to the effect of "You should have sent a runner straight to me"
Farell spoke up muzzily. "It wasn't his fault. I didn't think Barraca would be quite as angry as he was."
Diego turned around sharply, and aimed a "And as for you..." towards Farells eardrums.
"Barraca...His woman is a vampire. I tried to warn him and he knifed me. Believe me, I won't make that mistake again. " Interrupted Farell.

Lucas did his best to tend to his wounded companions in the ship's hold. By now he was no stranger to injuries, having tended many men on countless battlefields, but he was starting to wonder whether this was quite the city he'd expected it to be...
He did his best with Farell, rubbing some stinging herbs into the wound to help it congeal, and stitched the wound shut. Providing infection didn't set in, he should recover by the next full moon.
Then he turned to the Elf, who was aware but pale with pain, "Your legs seen some injuries... nasty ones... the bones were never set and have been left to splinter. I may be able to help, but it'll be a lot more pain and injury before it heals... if I break and re-knit the leg properly, I might be able to take away that limp... or at least lessen it."

Elathain cursed in the elven tounge. He knew that was the only thing keeping him away from crutches.
Elathain grabbed a towel and wiped the sweat off of his face then looked at the bret.
"Do it."

Farell coughed..."Go to the corner of Tavern street and Quill road...the house there, a healer lives in it. A mage of sorts. Go get him, tell him its for Farell and he'll come. He will be able to make the leg set faster. "

Lucas set to work. It was complicated and unpleasant, but eventually he seemed content.
"It'll be a lot worse before it gets better. don't overdo it and let all the parts fuse back together. It could take weeks, could take months... don't expect any improvements for a while."

She had seen the ordeal from the window...no-one had seen her, she was a master of hiding herself! She had seen that Farrell tell Barraca what she was...but she didnt care if her plan had worked, he was already smitten and under her control and would suspect Farrell of trying to steal her or torment him in some way! "Intriguing trickery!" she smiled "Though i fear that this may not exactly go the way i had planned!"
She saw Barraca leave and she suspected he had left to see to her... "Perrrrfect!" she said to herself She dissappeared silently...so silently that Elf who came running up with his arrow notched in his bow could not hear.
She seemed to dissappear into the air and re-materialise in the mansion...sure to appear near the back door. She saw the corpse of a servant....she cursed...she knew she had forgotten something when she was caught up in the excitement of blood being spilt and she was so rudely interrupted and attacked.
The wound still stung from being attacked..."Thoughtless bastard!" she snarled "I could've been permanently disfigured and my beautiful face ruined!"
_____________________________________________________________________________________
Barraca burst through the door calling her name, she forced tears to her and fled down the stairs and into his arms... Good job i've still got slight scrapes on my face...ill say that i was attacked by Farrell...eliminate the obstacle...nothing will stand in my way!!

The healer came and left.....time passed. The wounds healed, and all the while Farell nurtured a glimmer of hatred for his former master.....

Barraca sat brooding in his office.
Reiker had rounded up his ships and all were stationed in the docks or close by to the Island. Diego's main ship was still at the docks and his right hand man Barbossa was out making deals for his boss as usual. He had not seen or heard anything of Farell since the fight at the club, his ship had left soon afterwards, he would find him though. Nobody could injure Lilya and get away with it, Farell would die.
The guard at his mansion had been doubled and his most trusted captains had been rounding up fighting men, Torres would not get away with those open show of challenge. He would bring him down before he had a chance to gather a fleet.

Farell walked over to Barbossa....The man had just finished negotiating another one of Diego's deals.
"Barbossa....." Farell said.
"Yes?" replied his fellow pirate.
"Listen, Barbossa, I am no fool. Diego is intending to usurp Baracca. However, I can see d**n well that you haven't got any ship that can take on the locust alone, and if you can't beat the locust, you can't beat Baracca. However...I may just have a plan. Care to listen?"
