Twitching his pistol to the left and down, Farell shot the floor right next to the elfs feet.
"That was a warning. If you don't start behaving civilly, I shall get annoyed. Now, lets start again, shall we? "
As he said this, he brought up another pistol to replace the first.

This reminded Elathain why he hated guns.
"Before I tell you anything we should at least introduce ourselves."said Elathain. "My name is Elathain Tasal Ail Si Thysaer. I am what you humans call a 'Wood elf'. I have come here on a quest, as to what that quest is, I shall wait to tell you."

Farell shook him with his free hand.
"Captain Marc Farell....Priviteer, Adventurer, Mercenary....I haven't met any of the Fay Folk in many a year....the last time was when I was in a bar in the south of the empire.....they were marching south with a mercenary captain...something about undead, I believe....What was that elfs name? Gayled, or something."

'Fay folk?' Elathain thought. 'I guess he means elves. This human dosen't seem too bad.'
"So are you riding on the same ship as I? If so We can dicuss things later. I shall give this Barraca payment for the ride and help him defend the ship if need be in payment of the ride."

Rising from the table, Farell bowed slightly.
"Consider your message delivered" He said.
He headed over to the bar to pay his tab, and then walked to cobbled streets towards Barraca's mansion.

Elathain let out a sigh of relief. He didn't want to make a scene.
'This pirate is an interesting human.' thought Elathain. Only downside to these types of humans is they'd do almost anything for money.
"Well i guess I'll head back to the ship." Elathain got up and flipped a gold coin to the barmaid who just looked at him in disbelief. Elathain just smiled and walked out the door.

Barbossa was in the middle of a heated debate with another captain......
'15,000 Gold' shouted Barbossa, slamming his fist down onto the table sending bottles of rum smashing to the floor
'20,000 or you can leave now swamp breath' Snarled the captain in reply.
Barbossa glanced across at Diego who was stood at the bar someway behind this stubborn captain. Diego gave a discreet nod. Barbossa grinned.
'18,000, final offer' said Barbossa calmly, his hand slowly but intentionally clearly straying towards a pistol strapped to his chest.
'Deal' the captain said rather reluctantly.
'Payment will be made in full aboard your ship within the hour' finished Barbossa as the captain left.
Diego sat down facing Barbossa. he smiled.
'Well done my good captain, I didn't think we'd get it for anything less that 25,000. Only 16 guns but a nice little ship non the less. We shall arrange payment.'
As both men left the tavern, a figure moved out from the shadows. 'Barraca will be interested in this' it mused to itself.

Thylon stood in Barraca's main office, waiting for the pirate lord. He resented waiting for anybody, especially somebody that was so inferior to himself, then again most were. The Elf smiled to himself.
With that Barraca stormed in.
'What the hell are you smirking about Elf?'. Barraca made no pretence of the fact he didn’t like Elves, although this one he preferred more than most.
Thylon had to exert a massive amount of will power to prevent himself from drawing his pistol on Barraca, but if he did shoot him there was no way that Thylon would be able to escape the island alive. Plus Barraca wasn't that bad, he was very successful after all, he embraced new ideas. Thylon liked that.
'The Estalian. He had one of his men purchase a ship'
'Hmm, whose?'
'The captain went by the name of Keller' replied Thylon.
'Keller eh?, he's been freelance for years. Didn't want to work for me. HA. Has made virtually nothing because of it. To get by in this place you take orders from me. I guess he thought he'd get out before I raided his ship'
Barraca laughed.
'Still, this is interesting'
Thylon remained standing in front of Barraca.
'What?' asked the Pirate Lord.
'WHAT!' retorted Thylon angrily.
Barraca smiled 'Of course' He threw a small bag of gold to Thylon. The Elf gave Barraca a cold stare and left.

Thylon wasn't the only visitor to Barraca that day....
Farell returned, and gave his report in full to Barraca. Ommiting, of course, his offer to aid the elf for gold....
At the mention of payment, Barraca's eyes temporarly lit up, before his dull, old elven hatred returned.

Lucas wandered through the port, drunk and angry.
All his belongings, he carried with him. His clothes were Evadian; heavy hide-leather designed to double as body armour. On his hat he wore a flat bowl helmet made of bamboo, obtained from a mission with the Nam tribes of southern Cathay. His weapon was a Bretonnian glaive, and he carried a worn longbow amidst his packs. A silver Fleur De Lis hung around his neck on a yellowing piece of string. He looked every inch a vagabond, and was currently muttering every curse possible in the Bretonnian language about the local sailors, and Bretonnian is an excellent language for cursing.
He happened across a gathering of people, and wondered briefly if they would offer him a chance to improve his fortunes... and his coffers.

'Hmm, I will let him live then, it could never be said that I am a cruel man eh Farell?' Barraca laughed.
'Still I would like you to keep an eye on him for me, after all you can never trust on Elf'.
He paid Farell. It surprised people how generous Barraca was with his payments, generous but still dangerously ruthless. He believed it was the best way to keep is men loyal, and with loyal men comes the chances for even greater reward.
His mind strayed back to the girl.......

'You Sir!' Shouted Diego to a passing vagabond wearing a very peculiar hat. The man looked up.
'How would you like to serve aboard my ship?, If you do ask for a Captain Barbossa on that ship there, we need a few more good men with our new purchase' Diego gestured to a nearby ship, then turned away to continue with what he was attending to.
Two men muttered about the weight of a chest that they were carrying under Diego's order.
'Oh stop your bloody moaning, we both know that you couldn't find a better boss than me, so move your arses and shut up' Diego wasn't serious when he said this, he was a very fair man, good at heart and most of his men liked him for it.
The two men finally come to their destination. A cart with captain Keller sat in the back.
'Here is your payment in full' Said Diego politely.
'Who are you, where is Barbossa' retorted Keller angrily.
'Who I am is not your concern, it is all there i trust that you wouldn't insult me by counting it?'
Keller grumbled something under his breath ordered the men to put the chest into the cart then told the cart driver to ride on.

Lucas looked thoughtfully at the ship. He'd travelled by boat only three times in his life: when fleeing Bretonnia, when returning from Cathay, and getting here. He had decided, quite quickly, that he hated boats. However, he'd also decided he hated the Nam tribe, but that didn't stop him working for them.
He flicked the brim of his hat, causing it to rock back and expose his face. "Sure, if you need a hired sword, I'm your man." He subconciously began counting to three, waiting for the man to point out how strange it was seeing a Bretonnian for hire.

Lilya wandered around the mansion wondering where he was...how could she manipulate him when he was no where in sight?! She had newly acquired a new wardrobe of fantastic and luxurious dresses of the finest material and expensive accesories.
She peered from room to room.....
Where is he? she grew impatient, she grew hungry. A servant boy not much older than 20 lay asleep on the floor, he obviously should've been doing something. She bent down beside him...
"Are you tired my darling?" she said to him in his ears Startled and afraid, he woke up and stood upright. "im sorry ill get back to work!" he said picking up something. "No...stay and chat...i could use the company......." My god im hungry she thought as she walked out alongside him.........

Barbossa laughed
'a Bretonnian for hire eh?, Well i'll be d**ned. Still all good warriors or sea-men are welcome. This is the Spectre. 64 Guns she has. I'm guessing your more of a fighter than a sailor, you'll be seeing action soon my friend. The pay is 3 gold a week, goes upto 5 during conflict. Bonuses for being involved in a battle and a 10 gold welcome aboard payment '
The man nodded.
