There doesn't seem to be much activity in this board so i was wondering how many Sigmar fearing folk there are on this board. Thanks, ollie.

I play Empire, I am almost through my Ten Battle Goal with my Orcs and Gobs, once they are out the way, I am having at least 10 Games with my Middenheim Empire.
I did recently use Empire with Gorman against High Elves though, The BatRep is in the BatRep board.

If Kislevites and the white wolves were still around, I may. Unfortunately one person out of my old group (the group I played at home) plays empire, and grunt wanted to start them or mercs, so I'll wait awhile before starting empire.

Knights of the White Wolf are still around and the Kislevite Rules are still legal although the models are much harder to get hold of now.

Really? Where would one find the rules for them?
Also, after reading the first book in the Von Carstein Trilogy, I think the white wolf vampire reawakened my love for them...

I play an army from Altdorf. Not only do I love the scheme but it also gives me a fluffy excuse to field Karl Franz, Helborg, Schwartzhelm, Gelt or Volkmar if I want to But mostly it gave me the chance to paint uniform in a different style. Rather than a solid block of colour the Altdorf uniform is half red, half dark blue. Also everyone else seems to do either Middenheim or Talabheim

I sort of play. Me and three buds are starting up, but I'll be proxying my models for a good long time before I actually buy anything.

I'm going tipping over the cliff on starting them. I'm around 2000-2500 for my Dark Elves, and after playtesting chaos, I don't like their style, and I got a free hellblaster vollygun...
Yeah, I want a nice little gun line. I plan to start them in the next 2 months and finish them in the next 6-8.
Welcome to the site gecko.

Yes, welcome. And also Gunlines IMO are boring to play Deraj, so better watch out.

That's your opinion. It's wrong, but oh well You're just jealous that I get a shooting phase.

How 'Gunline' are you planning?
4 Cannon, 2 Hellblaster?
The most effective gunlines in my opinion are ones with a lot of regular missile units rather than a load of warmachines.
I have always liked the idea of a religious gunline. 'The Voice of Sigmar' or 'Sigmars Roar' or something like that, the firing of the guns akin to the voice of their god.
Lector on Alter; Cannon; Cannon; Pistoliers; Pistoliers; Hellblaster; Stank; 10 Handguns; 10 Handguns; 20 Flagellants; 5 Knights; Priest; Wizard; Wizard;

Oh, nothing close to that gunline. I want handgunners, hellblasters, cannons, mortars and pistolers, but alongside that I want knights and flagellents. And a bright wizard. Hell, I don't want an army, I just want a surrogate Luthor Flamestrike...
But honestly, what I was planning was:
HQs: A Templar Grand Master, Warrior preists, Battle Wizards, and Master Engineers, though a goblin hewer looks fun...
Core: Swordsmen with detachments of handgunners and archers. And knightly orders. Since when are they troops? Seems fun.
Special: Great Cannons, Mortars, and Pistoliers.
Rare: Hellblaster volley gun and Flagellants.
Ok, maybe it is close. What do you mean by "Stank" though?

I wouldn't take an Engineer, they are pretty useless.
If you want some shooting backed up by serious magic, take Thyruss Gorman. The best Fire Mage in the game.
Stank is the Steam Tank.
