Looking through all my Beasts models the other day and it turns out I have pretty much a full army that I have never used, so got to trying to make a list.
Doombull; Heavy Armour, Additional Hand Weapon [or Great Wep]. [3] Wargor; Khorne, BSB, Chaos ARmour, Sword of Might. [2] Wargor; Khorne, Great Wep, Heavy Armour, Fur of Magic Res and 6+ Save. [2] Wargor; Slaanesh, Great Fang, Heavy Armour, Shield. [1]
12 Gors/8 Ungor; FC, Shields on Gors. [1] 12 Gors/8 Ungor; FC, Additional Hand Weps on Gors. [2]
5 Hounds; 5 Hounds; 5 Hounds;
Chariot; Khorne
4 Minos; Standard, Khorne, Great Weps. 4 Minos; Standard, Khorne, Great Weps. 3 Minos; Standard, Slaanesh, Great Weps.[3]
That leaves me about 200 points to work with. With those 200 points I want to include something that will make big flyers worry but I just cant think of anything. Any suggestions?
So far I have 7 Dispel, so that should deal with most enemy magic phases.

I am tempted by 2 units of Centigors with Throwing Axes to try to fill that role.
For 10 S5 Shots, hitting Large Targets on a 3+. They do 3 wounds to a Manticore/Griffon and 2 to a Dragon. Thats not bad, so long as they pass their Terror.

d**n!, Just realised this list is illegal because Minos have to take the same Mark as your Lord. That is just stupid. I will have to re work it.
How about;
Doombull; Heavy Armour, Khorne, Slaughterers Blade - 266 Wargor; Khorne, BSB, Chaos ARmour, Sword of Might. - 150 Wargor; Khorne, Great Wep, Heavy Armour, Fur of Magic Res and 6+ Save - 128
12 Gors/8 Ungor; FC, Shields on Gors. -151 12 Gors/8 Ungor; FC, Additional Hand Weps on Gors. - 151
5 Hounds; 30 5 Hounds; 30 5 Hounds; 30
Chariot; Khorne - 130
4 Minos; Standard, Khorne, Great Weps - 249 3 Minos; Standard. - 158
That gives me about 500 Points to work with.

Take my advice with a pinch of salt, but the two units of 12 gors look like they will be vastly outnumbered by enemy troops. Unless you use all the hounds to back them up, but then you wouldn't be making the most of their manouverability. Still there a lot of heavy hitters in there, it would be interesting to play against with my Khorne Daemons.

Ah yeah, probs should have made that clearer. The Herds are 20 strong in total, 12 Gors + 8 Ungors in each. My bad. I agree that it would have been a very bad idea to run just 12 Gors in a unit.
The restrictions on beasts are shocking in terms of marks. I forgot how bad it used to be, really messed up my army plans lol.
Gives me an idea for a thread though.

Ah right my mistake. I thought it meant 8 of them were upgraded (not knowing the Beast very well).

How can you complain about beast marks? Tzeentch is awesome, Khorne is great, Nurlge is decent, Slaanesh I don't remember if is ItP or immune to fear, terror, and panic? I honestly say khorne and tzeentch beast marks are better than warriors of chaos ones. It also forces the mono god issue, which is great about the army. You know, instead of people running.... Festus, a khorne sorceror, and the pretty boy in a unit of slaanesh warriors And I must say, those units of 20 are pretty good, I know they really throw a wrench in the works when they ambush...

The Marks are great, the restrictions in how you can take them are bad.
If your Lord has a Mark, any other markable unit in the army must have his Mark or none at all.
Minos can only have the Mark your Lord has, even if he is Undivided.
You can only take Heros with different Marks if your Lord is Undivided AND you have a unit in the army with the same Mark.

That's exactly the point! It just seems so right to do it that way. It's like it's forcing you to make an army for its fluff, rather than how the warriors of chaos or daemon armies went. That's why I think they're such a fun and awesome army.
The minotaurs? fluffwise that makes sense. They are the guardians of the herdstones, something like.... preist guards? Therefore it would be dumb for them to follow a lord that wasn't their exact faith. The herds needing the same mark seems reasonable too.
