Right, I've just been reading too much into this army to avoid collecting it for much longer, my army list demands a mounted wizard and I have no idea how I would go about it Should I learn how to use greenstuff and convert a spare knight using a few wizard parts or should I have the wizard just floating above the horse It will be a light wizard It will be a barded warhorse Any cheap and easy suggestions?

Well, you may need this little helpful bit about GSing robes: an easy way to make robes/cloaks is to get a thin piece of plastic (like a sandwich bag) then crush some greenstuff flat on it. Cut the general shape of the cloak you want and cut it if you want for ragged holes, etc. after that, bend the plastic under the GS to shape it, using a pen (or any thin cylinder) from below to shape the folds and such, then let it dry on the plastic.
That being said, good luck, and I wish I had some better help for you.

Yes, but rather than a head from the wizards, why not a head from the flagelants? The one with the beard and his hair looks like fire could make a good wizard.

His hair looks like fire, that sounds perfect for a bright wizard but as I said It will be a light wizard The other problem would be that I wouldn't want to but a box of flagellants so I can get 1 head for a wizard in my "all-mounted" army
