i'm planning on making models from scratch with green stuff, BUT, i generally have no clue of how to go about it. so i was hoping for some sort of advice on tools and techniques to give me a basic ball park to start from.
P.S thanks for advice in advance *offers everyone cookies*

Alright, I can offer you a few pointers here. 1. Make sure your greenstuff is new, if not it gets lumpy. 2. Smoothe edged metal tools are the best. 3. Greenstuff is not that toxic. Saliva is a far better lubricant than water and you generally have it right at hand Granted oils would lubricate even better, but I have yet to try it, as I fear it would be more trouble than it's worth when dried. 4. Know what you're doing before you do it. Even though green stuff is easy enough to trim and scrape off, even to cut, you don't want to be modeling the same part. Making a wireframe is a useful thing, but not necassary. 5. You can't file greenstuff. I'm sorry, but it's not possible. I hope these help, and good luck.

Okay, I'm going to be really naughty, and just tell you to get the CMON guide book, I haven't tried sculpting yet, but I will at the weekend!
