Here's the deal for this: the army has to be backed up fluffwise, the units have to be different, IE not my normal maxing out of wardancers as specials and waywatchers for rares, but your opponent does not get to know what magic items you have until you use them. This is for an extremely competetive tourney tomorrow, but I just want to have fun with units I don't generally use. Last night I went out and got a treeman and 3 warhawk riders on store credit (Used up the last of it from winning tourneys...) This is the list I came up with:
Wardancer highborn with hail of doom and blight of terrors-275 and L2 spellsinger w/ dispel scroll-150 to join 18 Eternal guard with musician and standard-234
Wardancer noble with starfire arrow-130 to join 8 wardancers with a musician-151
L2 spellsinger w/ dispel scroll and elven steed-162 to join 5 glade riders with a musician-129 (I have never done this, so I'm not sure about it..)
10 glade guard with musician-126 10 glade guard with musician-126 8 wardancers w/ FC-165 3 warhawk riders-120 (I've never used them) 1 treeman-285 (I've only ever used on in my treemonic expirament) 8 waywatchers-192
-2245
C&C welcome

Not to bump or anything....
I got a 9/10 for composition, and all of the battles were story based, so we had some awesome boards.
One was a massive labyrinth of trees, like 6' x 8'. My opponent ran a khornate monster light list. (Lots of chariots, beastmen, and morghur.) Luckily I killed Morghur early on, then I jsut moved the trees wherever I wanted them, doing lightning raids on his guys. It was an awesome battle of ambushes and return ambushes.
The second battle was me and a Brettonian player against 5000 points of Dark Elves with Malekith, Morathi, and Malus. The Dark Elves had a "Dark Citadel" which had been made for the hobby shop's summer campaign as Suaron's place, so it was pretty cool. I learned to love killing blow against 1+ save cold one knights, taking down Malus and a unit of 10 with my waywatchers. Malekith was killed by a Bretonian Lord on a Royal Pegasus with the vow of super killing blow. Later in the game Morathi killed him, but my Lord killed her. We tied it, with my lord and 3 eternals being the only lord left alive. I killed one of the super sorceress' with a cauldron of blood on top of a tower with my warhawks and some pegasus knights.
The third battle was against my archenemy there, a person who has won several GTs and has been teaching me to play better. He had Slaaneshi chaos, running a unit of 20 chosen and 2 units of 5 knights. I love their "We have to challenge you, even if you're a wardancer lord and I'm the Lvl4 sorceror who should carry this game." Surprisingly, I got a massacre, the most I have beaten him by before was 250 points in a 1500.

Thanks man, I had never really done a story driven campaign, but that was really awesome, and I think it should be done more often, if only just for the really weird boards.
