Ok heres a few pics of the legendary battle that we played today. Basically Disorder sieged order, with high elves and tomb kings in the castle, on the table next to it was a village held by dwarves with wood elves coming in later ( not in pictures) and after that was another table where brettonians were supposed to ride to the rescue and reach the castle, with tomb kings holding them back ( succesfully). The beastmen over whelmed the village, and the goblins/ogres, and dark elves took the castle. Over all Disorder won, where we took the palace, village, and a tower and order had either contested or no objectives. heres pics of deployment and the battle mid game. ( didnt get pics of end game) ' also it was roughly 20,000 points per side. was a great day! This is high elves behind wall near palace, they needed to defend the palace, gate house, and three towers. Bretts and tomb kings sally forth to battle. The tomb kings were suppose to hold off/defend the bretts while defending the obelisk thing behind them. The dwarves defend in the village with a bit of tomb king help. objectives were town square. The beastmen (me) gather together to attack the village, which I do in a bloody mess of dwarves. and this pic is only about half of my stuff. this is a pic of the castle with siege towers and some dark elves and high elves and stuff. goblins set up on the right side (from point of view of attackers) a picture of the inside of castle. tri dragoN! dark elves set up on left side ( attacker point of view) beastmen attack! my slaanesh spawns attack the dwarven gunlines. also khorngorsare amushing on account of morghur. who did turn a caster into a spawn by him rolling doubles on the chart! battle is engaged! brettonians ride out! Beastmen swarm!

Wow, that is freaking awesome!.
3 Dragons in a castle, a unit of 12 Peg Knights? very cool. I would love to do that I have the models, just not the terrain or the space.
Thanks for the pics. Should post it in the BatRep board too, great example of an epic battle.

Screw school, next time they have one there I'm going, that looks far more... objective based and fun that Da boyz battles...
Also, were those all mine and Shawns Brettonians? Because I think I saw my BSB and I could not get him together....
Also.... who won?! You can't just tantalize with pictures....

Disorder won, we took the village, neither order or disorder held the obelisks behind the tomb kings, we held one tower and the other towers were contested, and disorder held the palace. so evil won in the end. Woo! Also shawn said your BSB is hopeless and that it was his.
Oh and Veq, i'll move this to the Battle report board. and thanks for the comments! =D
oh and it was like four people each side, each with a max of 5,000, minimum of 2,500 points.

Shawn's right. It was nearly indestructible, then when we went to paint it, my roommate dropped it down 4 flights of stairs and I haven't been able to fix it since... If I had been there order would have won

Oh, heh yeah definitely. Well My ambushing khorngors did great, as they ambushed behind miners, charged and killed them all, over ran into the skeleton horsemen and killed them all on first turn of combat too. Then they moved into combat with a thane on the objective, killed him and captured the objective. Also my morghur master of skulls turned a wood elf caster into a spawn by it rolling doubles on the miscast chart. Also we had an orc hill the needed to be held that was to the left of my deployment, and we had four goblin shamans on there and if a shaman held the hill conflaguration of doom could be used as a bowned spell. I was in control of the goblins on the hill, and with those goblins and my beasts togethere i alone had 20 power dice ( 4 goblins shamans plus base = 10, 1 lvl 4, 2 lvl 2, base = 10 = 20 for me alone!) and i had 18 dispel dice on my own too. Our tomb king player had 26 incantation dice, and thats only half of disorder! I'm not sure about the others but everyone was pretty magic heavy, so roughly i'd say....30-35-ish casting for good, and 40-45 ish casting for disorder. Also the bretts green knight killed 2 giants by himself, and a lot of other things...a bunch of cannons almost killed malekith, and i'm not sure about the rest as i was focusing on my side. Oh! also one goblins spear chukka hit and wounded the big dwarven king guy in a chair, and he failed his ward save, and then he did max wounds. he half killed him in one hit! Oh also morghur ended up making like 3 spawns, and i began with 3, and the caster turned into 1, so in the end i had 7 spawn under my control through out the game. I love them so much now!

So Morghur syndrome didn't get him killed? How did you like the gobbo shamans, by the way?

Wood Elf magic looks bad until you look at it tactically rather than "How much does it kill" though. (Yeah, I keep getting deeper into the game, duhn duhn duhhh"
Did any of the dragons die? And was Melekith there?Nevermind, saw him. I probably should have left you guys my DE army book for him....
