Battle Overview
The Orcs and Goblins had a large 1 level flat hill in their deployment zone, roughly in the centre of it. Out in the middle of the battlefield on the Orcs right flank lay a ruined temple. A small rocky hill lay on their right flank, also out in the middle of the battlefield.
The Armies deployed as follows -
A unit of Arrer Boys in two ranks on the hill, along with the Night Gobbo Archers in 3 ranks. Just to the left of the hill lay a Troll, supported by the unit of Night Gobbo Spearmen with the Shaman.
To the left of those, the Orc unit with my Boss.
Then the other Night Gobbo unit to the left of those with an Orc Arrer unit supporting their left flank, slightly angled in for a flank charge if need be.
The Wolf Riders and Chariot took my far left flank while the Spider Riders took the far right flank.
Across the battlefield the Skeleton unit with Vampire and Necromancer squared off with my Orc unit. The Graveguard just to the left of these squaring off against my Night Gobbo Big Boss' unit. The Zombies to the right of the Skeletons facing off against my other Night Gobbo Spearmen. The Black Knights right of the Zombies, ready to head at either my hill or Spearmen and Troll. Then the Spirit Hosts were on my right flank near to the temple.
Turn 1
The Orcs and Goblins elected to go second and let the Undead surge towards them, all the undead units moving as far forward as possible. Their magic phase being uneventful.
The Spider riders headed out towards the flank of the Spirit Hosts, hoping to slow them down.
Animosity seen a few units stranded and doing nothing, whilst the Wolf Riders began to get impatient and surged forward a little, they continued up towards the small hill, facing back across the battlefield to surge into the Grave Guard flank if they decided to advance any further past the small hill.
The Troll roared and charged off into the Black Knights.
The Night Gobbos with the Shaman moved up to get in the way of the Knights if the Knights were to chase the Troll off, this would protect the Spearmen on the hill, as the Knights would only be able to bring about 2 models in to contact with the Night Goblin Spearmen.
The Magic Phase resulted in my Night Goblin miscasting with his first spell attempt. My Orc Arrer Boys on my left shot the Graveguard killing 1, meaning they would be getting 1 less rank bonus. The Archers on the hill killed 3 Skeletons.
The Troll vomited on a Black Knight but failed to wound, the Knights won the combat but the Troll held [within 12" of the General].
Turn 2
The Spirit Hosts turned to face the Spider Riders on their flank but most of the Undead line halted, not wanting to engage the Orcs too early.
The Necromancer rose 8 Skeletons in front of my Goblins with the Big Boss.
The Knights managed to scare the Troll off and run it down but they were not quick enough to slam into the Night Goblin unit waiting behind. This did release the Fanatics from both the Spearmen and the Goblin Archers on the Hill, killing 4 Knights.
Animosity again hit a few units. The Chariot moved up a little and the Wolf Riders marched around to the rear of the Undead Army. The Spider Riders continued to run rings around the Spirit Hosts.
My Spearmen with the Shaman attempted to charge the Knights but they failed a fear test despite needing less than an 8, a roll that could seriously mess up my plans. Thankfully my Shaman made up for his miscast last turn and used the Hand of Gork to push them into combat. The Knight Goblins lost only 1 of their number and another 4 Knights turned to dust, the magic holding them together quickly fading.
The Itty ring reduced the Blood Dragon to 1 wound.
My Arrer Boys on my left formed up into two ranks and shot the Skeletons, killing 1. The raised Skeletons lured the Fanatic out of my Big Boss' unit, and the crazed Night Goblin smashed another 2 of the Skeletons down.
My shooting from the hill felled a few Zombies.
Turn 3
The raised Skeletons moved in front of the Orc Arrer boys, mainly to make room for the Graveguard to march forward. The Skeletons turned to face the Wolf Riders. and used Danse Macabre to charge them, the Wolf Riders fled as a charge reaction, stopping inches short of the board edge. The Zombies also advanced, but they went through a Fanatic, losing 4 of their number.
The Spirit Hosts again turned to face the Spiders, not wanting to be charged in the flank or rear.
The Knights turned to dust as the press of the Goblin numbers overcome the dark magic animating them.
The Spider Riders continued to move around the Spirit Hosts flanks. The Wolf Riders failed to rally and fled straight off the board. My Goblins with Bog Boss and Chariot both declared charges on the Graveguard but both failed their fear tests, the other Goblin unit failed their animosity test so couldn't charge the Zombies either!. The only unit to pass a test was the Arrer Boys who crashed into the raised Skeletons, smashing them to the ground and over-running right into the flank of the Graveguard, making up for my other units.
Shooting from the hill killed 5 Zombies.
Turn 4
The Skeletons turned and started to advance towards my main Orc unit again, the Necromancer healing the Vampire. The Zombies charged my Night Gobbos with Shaman, although the failed their fear test, they outnumbered the Zombies so would need 6's to hit in combat. The Spirit Hosts, finally having had enough of the annoying Spider Riders charged the Arrer Boys on the hill, who promptly fled straight off the board so the Spirit Hosts redirected their charge into the Night Gobbo Archers.
The Night Gobbo Archers although losing a few of their number to their ghostly enemies, managed to win the combat by a few points, wounding the Spirit Hosts.
The rampaging Orc Arrer Boys slammed into the Graveguard flank, hard. Killing 3 and only losing 1 of their number. Another Graveguard fell with combat resolution.
The Goblins fighting the Zombies, although causing no damage, also didn't receive any. They easily beat the Zombies, causing more to fall apart.
The Chariot failed it's animosity test, but other than that most tests were passed for once!. The Spider Riders slammed into the rear of the Spirit Hosts and the Big Boss with his Spearmen charged the Graveguard. The Shaman cast foot of Gork on the Graveguard, stomping a few into the ground.
The Itty ring again wounded the Vampire.
The Big Boss hacked down 2 Graveguard on his own, the Arrer Boys killing another. The Graveguard began to collapse, killing only 2 Goblins.
With the help of the Spider Riders, the Spirit Hosts were also now starting to fade away. The Zombies were wiped out by the Shamans unit.
Turn 5
The Skeletons advanced again, hoping to use Danse Macabre to hit the Orc unit, but having it dispelled. The Night Gobbo Big Boss killed another 3 Graveguard and the unit was finally wiped out. The Spirit Hosts also departed the battlefield, knowing the day was lost.
The Orcs charged the Skeletons, the rampaging Orc Arrer boys supporting them by charging the Skeletons in the flank. The Blood Dragon calling a challenge out to my Black Orc big boss. The Big Boss only hit once, causing a single wound. The wound was reflected back on my Big Boss with the Gem of Blood, the Vampire easily finishing off the confused and wounded Orc.
Still, the Orcs hacked down many Skeletons, easily winning the combat. The Combat resolution left only the wounded Vampire alive.
Turn 6
The Vampire challenged and beat the Orc Champion but was crushed under the press of Greenskin bodies.
Result
Orcs and Goblins; 2200 Points
1500 for destroyed enemy units, 400 for captured banners, 100 for killing enemy general, 200 for table quarters.
Vampire Counts; 569 Points
401 for destroyed enemies, 68 for units under half strength, 100 for killing enemy general.
Orcs and Goblins win by 1631 Points
Massacre!
I was impressed with the Orcs and Goblins, I'd never used them before and they performed great. I was failing Fear tests and Animosity rolls ALL over the place, but everything still held together really well. My magic helped counter some Animosity and Fear rolls, which was really handy.
My Orc Arrer Boys on my left flank were amazing, they killed a unit of raised Skeletons. They weakened the Graveguard with shooting, which meant when they went charging off into them alone, they managed to win. Then they helped out against the main Skeleton unit.
The Fanatics thankfully didn't hit any of my own units. My Big Boss also really impressed me, killing 5 Graveguard!. All my Night Goblins performed great when they actually got into combat though. 3 ranks + outnumbering + a standard + the nets making it really hard for the enemy to wound, ensured that they won every round of combat they were in. This may not have been the case if the enemy units were fully intact, but I made sure I dropped a rank bonus and any chance any unit had of outnumbering me by picking a few off out of each enemy unit with shooting.
I have got a unit of Black Orcs now and was planning on changing my list a fair bit, I'm not even sure if I want to change it now. I'll have to have a few more games before I decide. ____________________________________________________
Shaman Snotgob looked out over his force, his Bloody Moon tribe had defeated the Orcs that dwelt in the mountain passes near to their cave networks, he was their new ruler, the Deathfaces had also sworn allegiegance to his army, their powerful Goblin Warlord Toofcracka joining him in battle against their first foe. His visisons of a Waaagh were coming to fruitation, all he needed to do was prove his mettle in this battle, show that he was a force to fight for, a force too dangerous not to fight for. The Undead stood before him, what better foe to weed out the cowardly and weak from his forces. Today, was the begining...
****
Snotgob could feel his boys around him wavering, the living dead were enough to un-nerve even a hardy warrior, let alone a cowardly Goblin. He had to do something, if this line was broken by the enemy the battle would be lost, with a flash of inspiration, Snotgob set to work.
Casting a simple spell, the battle having made him too weak to cast any more, he gathered a glowing greenmist around the weapons and feet of his unit 'Look Lads' he screamed, 'Mork Loves Ya, how can we lose with the big green on our side?!' his Goblins looked at the green glowing mist that clung to their weapons and their courage soared, with a squeeky Goblin Waaagh they slammed into the ranks of the undead, fighting with the ferocity of their might green dietees.
The Arrer Boys on his flank, not wanting to be outdone by puny Goblins, especially in front of their new over-lord also dove into the fray, smashing skelentons apart in a brutal display of might. A shower of bones heralded their arrival into the flank of the next undead unit, locked in battle the old elite of their former tribe. With that the Blooddragon knew his fate was sealed, he continued to fight with a terrible fury, but he was alone on the field, and fell under a tide of Greenskins.
The Waaagh had begun...

Game 2 - Vs Dwarfs - 2000
This battle was fought on a long, narrow table, 60 long and about 30 wide. Perfect for the Dwarfs. 2 Hills deep in the Dwarf Depo Zone, 1 pile of ruins on the right centre of the table.

1977 Points.
Opponent - Dwarfs
King; 2+ Save - Re Roll, 4+ Ward, Great Weapon. Battle Standard; Mega Banner [+1 Res to all nearby etc etc]. Slayer; 10 Thunderers; 10 Thunderers; Organ Gun; Cannon; Bolt Thrower; +2 Strength, Engineer. Bolt Thrower; +1 Strength, Engineer. 20 Warriors; Full Command. 20 Long Beards; Full Command, Magic Banner. 20 Hammerers; Full Command, Magic Banner.
The Dwarf mining outpost of Skypeak had only one entrance, over the immense chasm spanning bridge, built at the dawn of the Dwarf empire. A bridge so immense that full scale battles could be fought.
Great Shaman Snotgob was aggitated, he had crushed an Orc warband, bent its leaders to his will with his magical might, ensuring loyalty by making their black orc leader the general of his armies. Better he in the thick of the fighting than Snotgob. He had planned to meet the Dwarfs in the mountain passes, past the bridge but as usual his squabbling force had stalled, giving the stunties the chance to meet them here. A long narrow battlefield, down the sights of a dwarf gunline. His anger boiling, green energy began to crackle over his fingers....Snotgob smiled to himself, at least he had weapons of his own. Waving his staff in the air he started to cry out
'Go go now!, Stomp the stunties!'
and with a roar the tide of greenskins surged onto the bridge....
Deployment -
I had from left to right - Night Gobbos, Black Orcs, Night Gobbos, Orcs, Wolf Riders. The Chariot, squigs and Spiders behind my front line as they simply wouldnt fit. The Night Gobbos were headed right at the Hammerers [with mad cap mushrooms to smash them with Fanatics]. The Black Orcs at the Long Beards and the Squigs would head at the Dwarf Warriors when space presented itself.
On my right Flank, my Orcs and Cav were headed at the gunline, 2 Bolt Throwers were on 1 hill, Thunderers with an Organ gun up front, tight against the ruins [which i would try to skirt with my wolves but the path was blocked with the slayer] and the Cannon and second Thunderer unit on another hill.
Early Game Movement/Magic/Shooting -
My army steamed forward, I had thankfully got Foot of Gork with all 3 Shamans and proceeded to STOMP a lot of Dwarfs, before I even got near, all the Hammerers besides the Champion, Battle Standard and King were dead. Dwarf shooting cut down some of my Orcs on my right flank but the Black Orc kept them in check, cracking some heads whenever animosity rose its ugly head.
My Wolf Riders path was blocked by a Slayer, i planned to lure him out the way behind the ruins and then scoot back around the other side and past him but at the worst time possible i was hit with animosity. Before the Slayer could charge my stupid Wolf Riders though, my Great Shaman come to the rescue again, stomping the Slayer to death with Foot of Gork.
My Goblins stopped short of the Dwarf line, Fanatics hammering the regular Dwarf Warriors.
The Bolt Throwers did smash my Chariot and had my Great Shamans Gobbo unit fleeing from panic once, but they rallied soon enough.
Combat -
My Black Orcs smashed into the Longbeards, killing 5 but an annoying unit champ stepped up and chopped 2 black orcs down alone, keeping the long beards in the fight. The Long Beards eventually won out and ran the Black Orcs down.
Continued Stomping finished off all but the Dwarf lord and a few Longbeards on my left flank. They reached my Goblin unit but the Longbeards were charged in the Flank by Spider Riders. The Long beards died, leaving their king alone.
On my Right flank by big Orc unit got held up a few times but continued hacking down units, they smashed the Organ gun crew and the first unit of Thunderers, passing many panic tests from stand and shoot reactions and getting their numbers whittled, by the time they reached the bolt throwers only the Black Orc Boss remained, but he butchered the crew as my Wolves killed off the other Bolt Thrower.
The Dwarf King fled from the Gobbos and failed to rally, leaving a small isolated pocket of Dwarfs on the hill [thunderers and Cannon] at the end of the game.
Result - Massacre for the Orcs and Goblins.
I was very impressed with my armies magic, the enemy shooting phase wasn't all that troubling and I didnt even get to use my Squigs. The Stomp spell and Fanatics wiped out 2 units all on their own. The Longbeards were a huge pain though, stopping panicking in other units and beating my Black Orcs because of that pesky champion.
Snotgob continued stomping the floor, cackling in delight as the elite Dwarfs facing him were smashed into paste by his power. All was going well, his Black Orc General had kept the Orcs going, despite coming under a hail of fire, he would not be stopped. Snotgob would make him some extra special mushrooms for his efforts.
The Crazies were hammering Dwarfs left right and centre and had only killed a few Black Orcs with their huge balls and chains, a price worth paying. Things were going well, although he was a little anxious about the impatient Squigs behind him
*****
The Black Orcs crashed into the veteran Dwarfs, hard. Great weapons unslung, the elite Orcs cleaved through the stunties thick armour as if it was paper. The old Dwarfs began to waver as a gnarled old warrior stepped forward, his beard to his ankles. In a second he had cut down two Black Orcs single handedly, he stepped back into his shieldwall and roared
'Come on boys, we arent good for nothing beardlings! we aint dead yet!'
Renewed the Longbeards drove forward, forcing the Black Orcs back using their shields, hacking the greenskins down whenever one stumbled from the dwarf press. Their momentum lost the Black Orcs had had enough, they fled.
*****
Shrooms eyes widened with fear as the Black Orcs were run down. Veteran Dwarfs storming towards his position, he was a shaman, not a fighter!. Moments before he was about to turn tail and flee, an enormous green foot smashed down once more on the Longbeards, before dissapearing leaving crackles of energy. Shrooms could hear the giggles of his Great Shaman. The Dwarf Boss came on, Shrooms worried for a moment before realising the Leader was alone, a grin spread across his face and the Night Goblines raised their blades.
**** Snotgob looked on, the Dwarf Leader had taken flight, wounded and humiliated. He had ordered the pursuit halted, the grief and shame the Dwarf would be feeling would drive him insane, causing suffering for far longer than Snotgob could ever make him endure with torture. There were a few Dwarfs left an a rocky hill, making a last stand. Foolish, Snotgob thought. With a shrug he started the chant for Gork to aid him one last time in this battle, the Dwarfs would be dead before the hour was out. The mines were his.

Game 3 - Vs Vampire Counts - 2000
I used the same list again.
My opponents list -
Vampire Lord; Extra Level, +2 Power Dice, Knows All Vamp Spells, Sword of Might, 2+ Save, 4+ Ward [with stupidity]. Vampire; Scout, Terror, M9 [probably some others]. Vampire; 2 Hand Weapons, Heavy Armour, Hand of Dust. Vampire; 2 Hand Weapons, Heavy Armour, Book of Arkhan. 5 Blood Knights; Full Command. 5 Dire Wolves; 20 Zombies; 20 Skellies; Full Command. 20 Skellies; Full Command. 20 Graveguard; Full Command Great Weapons, Hatred.
Snotgob was furious, no sooner had he started building his fortress from the dwarf mines, his staging post for the greatest Waaagh the world would ever see, had the Undead come to take his new stronghold from him.
Fleeing a Human army, the Undead also need a place to gather their strength and with news of the Dwarfs defeat, they believed this would be easy pickings.
Snotgob had faced these monsters before, his magick was the undoing of one of their warrior kind. They held no fear for him. Across the epic bridge he could see their Vampire leader, but this time arcane energies surrounded him, power glowing behind his eyes. Snotgob frowned, this may be troubling after all.
Deployment -
From left to right I had; Night Gobbos with Mushrooms [facing off against Knights screened by Wolves], My Orc unit with Boss heading off against a Skelly unit , my Black Orcs [Heading at the Vamp Lord and Gravegaurd], my Great Shamans unitheading at the other Skellies and finally my Squigs going for some Zombies. My Chariot and Cav held back behind my line to stop enemy scouting, so the Scout Vamp was placed between the Zombie and Skelly unit.
Early Game -
I annoyingly got very few offensive spells, not one of my Shamans got Foot of Gork!. All 3 got Mork Wants Ya, which is next to useless against Vamps. All 3 also got Gork'll Fix It.
My army advanced on the enemy, Brain Bursta from my Great Shaman killing the Wolves and the Itty Ring wounding the Hand of Dust Vamp on my left flank.
The Zombies and Skellies on my right flank swapped position.
The early magic phases were pretty innefective as we cancelled each other out.
As the armies drew closer, it was tense as to who would get off the main charges...
The Main Action -
Knowing my force was just out of charge range on most enemy units, I called on my Waagh, my Black Orcs and Boss' units auto surging forward, both my Night Gobbo units did too.
My Night Gobbos on my left unleashed their Fanatics on the Knights, killing 3. Whilst a Fanatics on the right flank smashed staight into the lone terror vamp, crushing him with ease, the others smashing some zombies as dark magic had bolstered their unit to around 30 models.
Due to the Waaagh my Gobbos charged the Zombies and Blood Knights respectivly, the Orcs smashed into some Skellies and my Black Orcs hit the Graveguard.
My Spiders shot through a gap in the enemy line, getting behind the Skelly unit on my right.
My Gobbos failed to hurt the Blook Knights and many were chopped down but 1 more Knight fell to combat res.
My Gobbos on my right hacked down Zombies left right and centre in a great showing.
My Orcs fluffed most of their attacks although my Black Orc Boss did manage to take down the wounded Vamp before he could use Hand of Dust on me. The Orcs won thecombat and a few more undead crumbled.
The Black Orcs hit the Gravegaurd fairly well, killing 5 but the Vamp Lord chopped down 4 Orcs on his own, seriously reducing the amount of undead falling through combat res.
****
In a desperate effort to save his faltering line the Vamp Lord cast Wind of Undeath, killing many fanatics and a few from othe units. He ended up with a Spirit Host 7 wounds strong, behind my Gobbos on my left flank.
The Skellies onmy right turned to face the Spider Riders to their rear and used the Book to charge them, my Spiders fled rather than face the unit. My opponent wasnt worried about leaving his rear to my Squigs as i would be out of charge range in my turn.
My Gobbos finished off the Blood Knights due to their weight of numbers whilst my other Gobbos continued hacking down Zombies. My Orcs carried on a slow but steady demolishing of the other Skelly unit.
My Black Orcs couldnt stand before the Vampire Lord and fled before him, just avoiding being run down.
**** My Black Orcs rallied.
In my turn I cast Gork'll fix it on the Vamp Lords unit to limit his magic. I then managed to cast Hand of Gork on my Squigs, slamming them into the rear of the Skelly unit. My Spiders continued to flee but stayed on the table.
My Gobbos on my left turned to face the Spirit Host, not wanting to be charged in the rear, whilst my chariot blocked them in.
My Orcs continued working on the Skellies whilst the Squigs chomped down swathes of the undead on the other flank. Leaving only a few after combat res.
My other Gobbos finished off the Zombies.
****
The Grave Guard and Vamp Lord charged the Black Orcs again, killing more. He failed in his attempts to help replenish his unit due to Gork'll Fix It. The Black Orcs were beat and finally ran down.
The Spirit Hosts attempted to break out by charging my Chariot blocking their path but it held, leaving their rear vulnerable to my Night Goblins.
The Squigs finished off the Skellies and Vamp on my right flank, leaving just the Lord with a few Grave Guard and the Spirit Hosts.
****
My Gobbos charged the rear of the Hosts, killing a base with combat res for few loses.
Some Grave Guard were broght down with Brain Bursta, leaving just 3 with the Lord. The Lord was then wounded with the Itty Ring.
Final Moments -
My Gobbos finished off the Hosts, leaving my Chariot free to head at the Grave Guard who were coming back to my lines. It smashed into them, killing all but the Lord, he failed to wound the Chariot and was defeated by combat res.
The battle was won.
Result - Massacre for the Orcs and Goblins.
I was again very pleased with my army, I should perhaps stop throwing my Black Orcs at the toughest units around but thats what they would do! besides, they always seriously weaken the unit they are fighting. I rolled great for fear and animosity in this game, they never once caused any real problems for me. Gork'll Fix It, really stopped the enemy replenishing their ranks and Hnad of Gork ensured I smashed a dangerous unit with ease with my Squigs by hitting them in the rear.
What really won me the game though was my Waagh. Getting those charges off really disrupted the enemy, the Fanatic sniping the Terror Vamp also helped a lot.
As the two battlelines neared Black Orc Bigboss Gnarkill let out a defeaning Waaagh, soon echoed by the rest of the army, they as one steamed forwards, catching the enemy totally off guard.
Snotgobs own unit was unsure wether to join in or not, the horrific monster in front of him putting him off more than a little, just as he was debating with himself wether to charge or not a Fanatic smashed into the beast, breaking it's back it slumped to the ground and began dragging itself away from the battle. With that Snotgob began to scream 'Charge! charge' and his unit dove into the Zombies in front of them.
***
The battle was going perfectly, only his Black Orcs had ran, but it had led the Vampire Lord away from his lines. Already the Chariot and Wolves were circling his depleted unit. Snotgob was even starting to enjoy this close combat stuff, he had killed 2 zombies himself! his magick was superior to the Vampires, every time it tried to use its power he would stifle it, sucking the energy from the creature. He could see it weakening.
The Chariot rumbled towards the Vampire Lord now, picking up speed before crashing into its unit. The armoured Skellies were smashed to dust and the Vampire itself thrown like a ragdoll, up and over the back of the Chariot. With its army defeated the dark monster turned tail and fled, to the jeers of Snotgob and his boys!

Game 4 - Vs High Elves - 2000
Here is the Elf list -
14 White Lions; Full Command, Banner of Sorcerey. 14 White Lions; Full Command. 19 Spearmen; Full Command. 10 Archers; Bolt Thrower; Bolt Thrower; White Lion Chariot; White Lion Chariot; Eagle; Eagle; ArchMage; Extra Level, Anullian Crystal, Ring of Fury, Dispell Scroll. Mage; Jewell of Dusk. Noble; Great Weapon.
He chose Fire Magic for both Mages.
He got- 2,4,5,6. 3,4.
I got- 1,2,3,4. 1,4. Orc - 1,3.
I did swap out a Goblin Shaman for an Orc Shaman. He had Waagh Paint and a Dispell Scroll.
Snotgobs army was gathering, his force had made its way down from the mountains in order to bring the lowland Goblin Tribes under his control. His scouts had reported back that they had located an Elf ship, moored at a small unused jetty along the river they had been following. They were waiting for something.
A lone ship was easy prey for his horde, he would take their ship and whatever loot he could. With a ship at his disposal he could strike at coastal villages and settlements along the river banks. The jetty was at the point where the river was closest to the mountains, he would only have a narrow battlefield.
*****
Captain Caradian had waited for two days for the Mages and their White Lion bodyguards, they had finally arrived, ready to return home after their studies of the Old World and the building of diplomatic relationships with its many rulers. The last of the Mages supplies were being loaded aboard as one of the Mages Great Eagle allies began to screech in alarm from its position over head. Caradian looked to one of the panicked Mages to see what the problems was
'Goblins'
replied the Mage. 'Bring down the Eagle Claws and muster for battle' roared Caradian 'We have company'.
Deployment -
From Left to Right I had - Night Gobbos with Shaman [Chariot behind], Black Orcs, Common Orcs with [With Orc Shaman and Black Orc], Squigs, Night Gobbos with Great Shaman. I had my Cav behind my main units on my right flank.
The enemy had - Bolt Thrower, 2 White Lion Chariots together lined up against my Black Orcs, the 2 units of White Lions, Spearmen, Archers then the second Bolt Thrower right on my right flank.
Early Game -
Elves got first turn and flew the Eagles right down each flank at my Night Gobbos bringing out the Fanatics, 1 Fanatic died but so did both Eagles. Shooting caused very little damage. My Army adavanced, all I managed to do was wound the Mage with my Itty Ring in my Magic Phase, I also took out his Dispell Scroll.
The Elves shooting continued to be very average. The Chariots got in position to smash my Black Orcs. My army carried on forwards, I tried all I could to take down those Chariots, I managed to case Foot of Gork on 1 then only got 1 hit on it, causing 1 wound. I angled my Chariot to smash one of his from his inevitable running down of my Black Orcs. My Fanatics hurt a few of my units.
The Chariots hammered in to my Black Orcs, brutally crushing them, my Champ struck back and missed with his 3 S6 attacks!!. One chariot ran me down whilst the other didn't get very far. Magic and Shooting did some damage to my army, Wall of Fire was cast on my normal Orcs with irresistable force.
My Spiders got the charge on the archers and the Bolt Thrower on my right, killing the crew and running the archers off. My Chariot crashed into the wounded LIon Chariot and smashed it.
My Great Shaman miscast, rolled a 3 and killed himself along with some of his unit.
I did manage to stop Wall of Fire on my Orcs though.
The remaining White Lion Chariot charged my Chariot, I fled to try and lure it away from the battle, the White Lions on my left flank charged my Gobbos, beating and breaking them, they couldnt catch them.
I was now in a bad position, I was getting hammered with magic now that mine had been seriously reduced, I had a unit of Gobbos with a Shaman as good as dead. My Fanatics also smashed my Wolf Riders, my Black Orcs were dead, my Great Shaman was dead and my Squigs reduced. All the enemy had lost was Eagles and a Chariot. I didnt even want to engage the Spears and Lions in front of me because I would just get chopped up.
The Fight Back -
My Spiders hit the Archers again, running them off and chasing them off the board [also going off themselves]. A fanatic finally hit the enemy, killing 5 Wite Lions that were after my Gobbos on my left flank. The Bolt Thrower killed my last Wolf Rider.
My Gobbos and Chariot rallied. My Orcs and Squigs both got 6 on animosity, the Squigs hit the Spears [even though I would much rather have been charged!]. the Orcs hit the White Lions. My Squigs got butchered and fled, hurting my Orcs, the Spearmen and the Whitelions. The Orcs beat the Lions but they held due to Stubborn.
The White Lions killed my rallied remnants of a Goblin unit on my left whilst the Lion Chariot ran mine off the table. The Spears charged my remaining Night Gobbo unit. The combat ended in a draw and my Spiders could charge the Spearmens rear next turn. My Orcs continued hacking down the White Lions and won the combat again, the Lions would not break. The Bolt Thrower killed 1 of my Spiders.
My Spiders having survived a hail of bolts charged the rear of the Spears, killing a few. The Gobbos held up well to the Spears attacks and also killed a few, the Elves were beaten and ran down. The Orcs carried on hacking the White Lions but they couldnt quite finish them off, they also hacked down my Black Orc Boss. there were 3 left with the Mage at the end of the game.
Result - Solid Victory [Just, 50 points above a minor] to the High Elves.
A dissapointing performance, I just didnt have space to bring numbers to play on this table, even if I did i would still have been cut down before I could attack. I had a flank charge lined up on the Spearmen as they turned to face my Squigs threatening a flank but the White Lions got in the way.
My Fanatics SMASHED my own forces, they caused me a lot of problems. My Miscast killing my Shaman was the main thing though, after that I couldnt get any spells off, the Elves could pretty much cast at will and the enemy got a lot of points for him.
I did manage to claw my way back into the game a little, but it wasn't enough. This was only the second Fantasy game I've ever lost, the first was my Dogs of War getting massacred by old Blood Dragons a few years back.
Things were not going well, the Elves had organised themselves for battle too quickly, at least the Eagles that warned them were now bloody wrecks thanks to his Crazies. Although Snotgob was a little dismayed at the damage they were now causing amongst his own ranks. The fercocious Lion Chariots had torn apart his Black Orcs, their Champion taken down with one of the Lions jaws wrapped around his neck.
He would sort this out with his magic!, gathering more and more energy to himself, feeding off the energy of his fellow greenskins, power bagun to surge through him, he sucked in more and more knowing he needed it to beat the tricksy defense of the pointy ears. Too late he realised he couldnt control it, a roiling ball of green energy appeared in front of him, violantly convulsing...Snotgob gulped hard in terror.
***
Caradian smirked as the ball of energy exploded, blasting the Goblin Shaman 20 foot in the air and ripping apart some of his unit. The smirk faded as he noticed the foul creature was still alive and crawling from the battlefield.
The enemy was in dissaray, the fearsome White Lions and their Chariots having crushed the enemies left flank.
A large Orc leader was trying to rally his force, it roared and slammed into the White Lions. Caradian knew that the brave Chracians would hold.
He raised his sword and charged into the cave beasts in front of him, his crew charged with him, well drilled and knowing the time was right. Spears plunged into the gaping mouths of squigs and in moments they were all but wiped out. Their momentum carried them on into the Goblins that had been injured by their own primitive magic but they were soon stalled. Shield on Shield both sides heaved and pushed against each other. He bagan to hear screams behind him, too late he had remembered the Spider Riders that had murdered his Archers, his loyal crew were falling around him. Before he could turn, two horrifying spider legs locked down over his shoulders as he felt a shooting pain in his back. He bagan to weaken, the spiders venom taking its toll. In moments he was dead.
***
Snotgob watched from behind the rocks he had dragged himself to, The Lion pointy ears had fought their way back to the ship whilst the remaining Bolt Thrower covered them. Their wounding of Gnarkill cutting dead any hope the Orcs had of pursuit. They and their Mages would escape, the sight of his Spiders eating the ships captain not enough to distract him from the losses his force had taken, or the agonising pain he was in.

Game 5 - Vs High Elves - 1500
Well, I got another game against those High Elves. We thought it would be better at 1500 points to represent the losses in the first game.
Heres the 1500 list I used -
Night Gobbo Shaman; Staff of Sneaky Stealin. Lvl2. Night Gobbo Shaman; Itty Ring, Staff of Sorcery. Lvl2. Black Orc Big Boss; Heavy Armour, Shield, KickinBoots. 30 Night Gobbos; FC, 3 Fanatics. 30 Night Gobbos; FC, 3 Fanatics. 25 Orcs; FC. 2 Choppas. Chariot; Rock Lobba; Bully. 10 Arrer Boys; 5 Squig Herds; 6 Spiders; Musician. 6 Wolves; Musicain.
The High Elf List;
Mage; Lvl2, +1 Power Dice. Mage; Lvl2, Choose Spells. Noble; Great Weapon, Ring of Fury. 19 Spears; FC. 14 White Lions; FC 14 White Lions; FC White Lion Chariot; Whie Lion Chariot; Eagle; Eagle;
Snotgob was seething. The Elves had stunted his foray into the lowgrounds. There was only one route for them to take though and he had forces and allies all along the river.
A plan began to form, sending his wolf riders out to make contact with a tribe of Orcs that had a peculiar penchant for ranged combat. The River was not wide and their Rock Lobbas had a chance of hitting the Elven ship and forcing it to land.
He was still too weak but he knew the more powerful of the two Elven mages would be weakened too. Sending his favourite apprentice and a force led by his trusted lietenants Gnarkill and Shrooms, he hoped to wreak vengance on the Elves whilst his Black Orc Bodyguard ensured his own safe return to his mountain hold at skypeak.
*****
Adlan, captain of the white lion bodyguard could see the Archmage was in a bad way, the battle having drained him of a lot of his power. The ship was short crewed and the Eagle Claws had been abandonned during brave captain Caradians rearguard action. They had to hit land soon in order to gather supplies and for the men to rest but the riverbanks were infested with Water Kobolds.
Breaking his train of thoughts the lookout cried out in alarm, seconds before a huge boulder crashed through the deck of the ship. As the ship began taking on water his decision was made for him, they had to hit land and fight their way through the Greenskin forces.
Deployment -
Same silly table. I deployed my Gobbos and Orcs quite deep in my deployment zone, wanting the enemy to come to me with my superior firepower. Gobbos on my left flank with the Orcs inside of them and then the other Gobbos.
Further forward, at the edge of my deployment zone I had my Wolves on my left flank, Arrer Boys across the centre, then the Squigs, Chariot and Spiders on my right flank.
Facing me the Spearmen were heading up left flank. White Lions on my right and the Chariots quite central. There was an eagle on each flank.
Spells -
I got;
1,4 1,6. I was not impressed lol, but at least I got Foot!
He chose fire and picked -
Firey Blast and Wall of fire for one and rolled; Conglag and Flaming Sword for the other.
Early Game -
The Elves got fist turn and advanced cautiously. Firey Blast took out a few Squigs. The Eagles flew straight at me hoping to lure out fanatics but I expected that so my Gobbos were too far back for the 20 inch fly to bring them out.
I held my line besides each of my Fast Cav units charging an Eagle, they fled. My magic did ok, I cast Foot of Gork on a chariot but only took 2 wounds off it. This was the only turn of the game that my Guess for my Rock Lobber wasnt right in the middle of a unit, I was 2 inches short and the scatter didnt take it into anything. My Archers killed 1 Spearman as I wanted to have them lose a point of combat res.
The Elves continued a very cautious advance, magic killing a few more Squigs and 3 of the Spider Riders. They fled.
My Squigs advanced, I figured even if they got broke in combat they would wreak havoc amongst the White Lions. The Spiders rallied and the Wolves got behind the Elven Spear to march block [that was the only unit i didnt want to engage in combat]. Foot took another wound off the wounded chariot my Arrer Boys finished it off. The Rock Lobber was dead on the White Lions but scattered way off.
The Eagles flew right back at me but still not close enough to get those Fanatics out. The Spearmen spun for their Noble to try and use the Ringof Fury on the Wolves. The White Lions stayed put. Magic again killed more Squigs and a few Orcs.
Forces Engage -
My Arrer Boys charge the Eagle who flees, but not enough and the Arrer boys catch it!. They dont quite reach the Chariot behind and my Wolves fail a fear test to charge the Chariot in the rear. My Rock Lobber again is dead on but misfires and cant fire next turn. My magic stomps the White Lions and kills quite a few.
The Chariot charges the Arrer Boys who flee and are caught, this brings the Chariot in range of the right hand afanatics though and they smash it. The Eagle also moves up and is smashed by the other Fanatics. With my Squigs bearing down on his White Lions my opponent wants to wipe them out rather than break them in combat and so more magic is put on them, thinning the unit even more but not wiping them out.
The Squigs get the charge and with a wide frontage and only losing a few to the axes of the White Lions, proceed to eat most of the unit. The White Lions flee but arent caught.
The Fanatics, coupled with animosity hammer my lines., my night gobbos moce due to animosity and finishon a fanatic, the Orcs are also hit with a Fanatic and the Big Boss kills a few because of a failed animosity.
The White Lions rally and magic doesnt achieve much, the Spearman keep spinning to get the ring on the Wolves but I keep dispelling it.
The Rock Lobber is again dead on but scatters. The Squigs charge again, finish off the White Lions leaving only the mage who flees and is caught.
My Gobbos finish a waagh animosity on another fanatic [d**n it!] not enough to cause panic though. My Orcs and Chariot position themselves to try and charge the other White Lion squad in the last turn. Foot squahes some of them.
The White Lions move back as far as they can for the elves.
In my final turn both my charges are short by an inch!, my rock lobber misses. I need to kill 2 more to bring them under half strength, I get foot off, get 2 hits.....then roll a double 1 to wound!.
Result - Massacre for Orcs and Gobbos!.
I was impressed with how the army worked at this points value. Animosity and a fanatics kept letting me down and killed a lot of Gobbos [thankfully not enough to take them under half strength], my Orcs failed animosity over and over, lucky my big boss had a bad day and couldnt seem to hurt his own boys.
I was dissapointed that the enemy didnt come at me, i figured my shooting and magic would make him do that but my Rock Lobber kept scattering off.
The Squigs were awesome, I didnt even care of they got broke as they would still cause damage. I figured they could beat the White Lions though and once they got into combat they did.
All I lost was half a Squig unit and my Arrer Boys.
All in all a good result and nice to get revenge for the loss.
The Elves hit the bank and within minutes were arrayed and ready for battle, most of the Orc and Goblin force were tired from their long march and so they would let the Elves come to them.
Shrooms giggled as his crazies, powered by his own 'special brew', crippled the magnificent war lions and smashed the chariot to tinder. The Eagles had been delt with by the impessive arrer boys, one boy taking the creature out of the air with a mighty leap, dragging it to the ground were it was hacked to death by the boys. They would eat well tonight.
****
Adlan choked back a gasp as he watched his warlions crippled and murdered by the greenskin fanatics. The Wolves were harrying their flank and the enemy artillery bombardment getting closer and closer. The weakened Archmage was also loosing his battle of wills with the enemy shamans.
He knew they were doomed but they would make the enemy pay for it. The Cave Beasts were bearing down on them, as they hit, his line stepped forward, as one bringing their Axes down on the gruesome little beasts. His eyes widened as many axes were simply lost in the gaping mouths of their enemy, axe shafts bitten in two. The beasts grinned, then begun the same treatment on his brave men. Even mighty chracians couldnt stand before such an assault and his White Lions broke around him, the mage was dragged down and devoured in seconds, he had failed in his duty, his soldiers, his people, were dead or dying.
Adlan dropped to his knees, laid his axe before him, and waited for the inevitable.

Game 6 - Vs High Elves - 2000
2,000 Point Re-Match with the High Elves, the ones I lost to in the first 2,000 point game against them. This is on a proper 6x4 table. A Hill in his depo-zone, on my far left corner, ruins in roughly the centre of the table and a hill out in the middle of the right flank.
My usual 2,000 Point List.
The Elves both chose Lore of Fire.
Noble Kreshals force, still in the Old World following the hunt for the fabled Nemesis Crown had heard of the Elven Massacre at the hands of the Empire Warriors. His army had marched long and hard to reach the site of battle, finding a single wounded Elf left alive. The Elf had told him of the Goblin trickery, of their folly for falling for it. Trickery that had turned Elf on Man, Ally on Ally. Imperial diplomats that had headed south to try and talk the Elves down before any damage was done were greeted openly and returned safely to their Emporer, rare Elven apologies ringing in their ears.
There was a blood debt to pay and Kreshal would rid the world of this Goblin Leader once and for all, it had caused the ruin of 2 Noble Elven Armies and even now posessed a stolen Elven ship. It would not go unpunished.
***
Snotgob was getting sick and tired of Elves, they marched on his lands and holdings once again. For a race that was supposed to be in decline, he sure had faced a lot of them in the past few months. Gutting this force should send them packing from the Old World, allowing him to finally conquer the Lowland Goblins and swell his Waaagh. He would not be so stupid as to overstretch his magical power this time around. There would be no easy way out for the Elves.
Angry and aggitated, Snotgob lashed out at everybody around him with his staff. Threatening any that ducked or dodged out of harms way with the possibility of being turned into a frog if he ever got his hands on them. His force was on the march, they would meet them Elves and stomp them, the Waaagh would roll on.
Early Game;
I had my Squigs on my far left, along with my Spiders and Great Shaman with Gobbos. Facing off against an Eagle, Bolt Thrower and Archers on that flank. Centrally I had my Orcs with Chariot and the other Gobs and Shaman with my Black Orcs and Wolves on my right flank. The enemy had a Chariot and the White Lions quite Central with the Bolt Thrower and Eagle and the Spearelves out on my right flank.
I got first turn and surged forwards but my magic phase was totally shut out.
The Eagles swooped down on the Gobbos releasing fanatics, both Eagles died. The Elves managed to get off a wall of Fire on my Orc Squad, wounding my General [Black Orc Bigboss]. Shooting downed a few Squigs. The central Bolt Thrower shot at my Chariot and missed, it would keep missing untill i finally mention it again later on.
The Fanatics do little, one actually hits the Lion Chariot but does 1 wound [they tend to do that a lot]. My Advance slows, but the Black Orcs head on and the Wolves get around the Flank of the Spear Elves, the Spiders clamber straight over the ruins they were hiding behind and got on the Flank of the Lion chariot out on the left. It didnt matter though as Foot smashed the chariot anyway. The rest of my magic was rubbish. I did get Brain Bursta on the central Bolt Thrower, got 2 hits on the crew, and then got 2 - 2's to wound.
The Elves shuffle around a bit and shooting kills a few more Squigs, magic sees Wall of Fire go off again on the Orcs AND the Black Orcs [kept getting irresistable force with this spell]. The Spear Elves turn to face the Wolves on the Flank. White Lions reform to 2 x 7 and advance on the Black Orcs whilst the Chariot lines up a supporting charge. Hoping the Fanatic in front of it moves out of the way.
Fanatics dont do much, they may have killed some of my Gobbos. The one in front of the Lion Chariot moves out the way, hitting nothing. The Squigs charge the Bows, the Spiders charge the Bolt Thrower. The both wipe out the Elves. The Gobbos in the centre move towards the Lion Chariot flank and charge it thanks to Hand of Gork. They beat it and it runs, stopping 1'' from the edge of the board and I dont catch it. The Gobbos also just miss hitting the 2 x7 White Lions in the flank. My Wolves faced animosity so they were now stucking facing a unit of Elves with nowhere to run.
Mid Game;
The Lion Chariot rallies. The Spears charge the Wolves who hold as if they flee they go straight off. I do get 1 kill before I am run off the board. The White Lions charge Black Orcs, they kill 5 but my Champ steps up with 3 kills to draw the combat. Shooting and magic thins my Orcs, wall of fire getting off again and killing my General.
With no General, my Gobbos fail the fear test to re-charge the rallied chariot and are now a sitting target, too close to even flee. I roll animosity on my Great Shamans unit so my magic is useless this turn. My Black Orcs are beat and run down.
The Lion Chariot smashes the Gobbos and magic and shooting kills more Orcs.
I counter the Lion Chariot with my own Chariot, destroying it. I hope for a late game charge on the White Lions that beat my Black Orcs, it should take them under half strength and I may kill their mage.
End Game;
Wall of Fire kills my Orc Shaman, shooting and magic combined also takes down the Chariot, barely.
My Magic does take down 1 White Lion unit below half strength due to Foot of Gork.
Elf magic [now dominant with my 2 dead Shamans] and shooting tries to wipe out my Orcs but I am left with 2.
Result - Minor Victory for the High Elves
It started well and I rolled up the left flank, things really went wrong when that Lion Chariot didnt go all the way off the board. Then failing the Fear test to charge it. Wall of Fire was a complete pain, it kept going off with irresistable. Stupidly though, I forgot my Bigboss was T5 not 4, thats why he died so easily to it. That may have seen my Gobbos get that charge off on that chariot. My Wolves failing animosity just as they were getting round the rear to support the combat with the Black Orcs didnt help either and got them killed.
It was a Solid Victory to the High Elves though last time at this points Level. I just really cant see this army ever winning this match up with much regularity though no matter what I do, despite doing 1 better this time. The Black Orcs are a big point sink, I am thinking of dropping them to 12 and getting a Goblin chariot and another Boar chariot with the extra points. What do you think?
His Squigs were chomping on archers and his Spiders had clambered up the hill and murdered the War Machine crew. His own magic had smashed an Elven chariot. Snotgob grinned and turned to face the rest of the battlefield. The grin faded, the last of his Orcs were falling back, charred green bodies littering the battlefield in their wake. He flinched as a hail of Elven Bolts impaled the Boars on his chariot as it hurtled towards some pointy eared axemen, they hit the ground and skidded to a halt, the chariot smashing head over tail in front of them. The crew dying instantly, crushed in the wreckage. The Bolt Thrower began to turn towards them, Snotgob could see his Squig Herders goading their gribbly beasts behind the cover of the hill to retreat in safety, the Spiders followed suit. With a panicked scream Snotgob ordered his boys to do the same, cursing and spitting insults aimed at all Elven kind.
He had been stalled again, his Waaagh would take another path, free of Elven interference but to do so it would have to pass through the cursed mountain valleys of the region, were the dead were restless and slavering ghoul packs roamed, answering the call of their dark lord. Snotgob shuddered. Maybe Elves weren't that bad after all!

Goblin Chariot; 63 Extra Crew.
Special - 517
1994 Points
Playing on a very narrow table and terrain really didn't play a part.
Same Elf list. The Elves as usual went for Lore of Fire.
The small mage got Conflag and Fireball. The Archmage got Fireball, Conflag, Blast and Wall.
I got 1 and 2 for my little mage. Fists and Warpath for my Orc Mage. 2,3,4,5 for my Great Shaman.
The Elven Mage tested the strands of fate. His spirit floating along the twisted paths. He watched a great Goblin leader vanquish a foul Ghoul King in the dark mountains above the Empire of man. He started to turn onto another path, the troubles of man were not his concern but something caught his attention. The Goblin leader did not stop at the Empire, the power he had gained from defeating the Ghoul King, draining it of its dark power had seen the foul shaman cut a swathe through the Empire, all the way to the coast. It had amassed a great fleet and headed west. They laid waste to the coast of Ulthuan, his magic power fuelled by the fair realm. Thousand of his people were slaughtered. Towns and cities raised to the ground.
With a start the Mage snapped open his eyes. This was a future that he could not let come to pass.
Within a matter of days an Elven force was mustered, the Mage and his apprentice accompanied by a loyal Chracian bodyguard contingent. The elite force set out on a pair of the fleets fastest ships. Ready to cut through this unwelcome strand of fate.
****
Snotgob and his lads were on the march again. He was sick of the Elves cutting his Waaagh dead, he was forced into this path. The dark mountain passes made his lads nervous and scittish. They would be even more so if they had his power to sense what waited for them up in the highest peaks and passes.
Things were not as expected though, Ghouls littered the passes. Snotgob bent down to inspect one of the bodies. Pulling a finely made white hafted arrow from the throat of one of the monsters his worst fears were confirmed. The Elves were back. He began screaming to his boys to muster for a fight, horns blared and the lads started getting riled up.
'd**n dem poncy point ears!' Cursed Snotgob. He would send them packing once and for all. His boys would not accept another defeat, one of his apprentices would surely assassinate him if he were to fail again. This was his final chance. He snarled and redied himself to meet his foes once again.
Early Game;
Out on my Left Flank I had my wolves, in the centre were my Night Gobs with small shaman, my Orcs then Black Orcs and my other Night Gobs on my right flank. My Spiders and Chariots were slightly behind my lines and my Squigs just behind the Blorcs.
Facing off across from my Wolves lay the Archers and a Bolt Thrower. Then a Chariot and Eagle. His 3 Infantry Blocks held the centre with his other Bolt Thrower, Chariot and Eagle on my right flank.
The Elves got first turn with the Eagles luring the Fanatics out and dying for their trouble, the Elven line advanced whilst their firepower cut down my Wolf Riders.
In my turn my line moved forward besides my Night Gobs on my left flank who failed animosity, stumping my magic phase and making it totally ineffective. My Spiders moved in front of my right hand Night Gobs to lure a charge from the Lion Chariot. My Orcs played a risky move by getting close to a rouge fanatic so as to deter the other Lion Chariot charge. My Chariots squeezed into my line to try and line up a double charge on an Elven infantry block. My Fanatics did kill 2 White Lions most killed themselves though. Throughout the game they only went on to kill some of my Orcs and then played no real part so I wont mention them again. The Bowmen did use 1 turns firepower to shoot them though.
The Lion Chariot did as expected and charged the Spiders who fled. The Night Gobs behind passing the panic check. The other Chariot edged foward and the White Lions on my right flank moved up and expanded their frontage to now support the stranded Chariot. Magic Saw Wall of Fire go off on my Blorcs to try and stop them charging the White Lions or the Chariot. Shooting wounded a Chariot and killed a few gobbos.
Forces Clash;
The Night Gobs on my right declared a charge on the Lion Chariot but then failed their Fear Test!. The Black Orcs despite Wall of Fire saw the danger, striding through the Flames for 6 losses they lined themselves up on an angle in front of the White Lions, with my Champion on one end, this would bring him into contact with the Archmage if the White Lions charged, it would also take the White Lions off the table if they won. They also made sure to leave LOS from my Great Shaman to the Chariot.
My other Night Gobs moved back out of charge range of the other Chariot. My magic thankfully smashed the Chariot on my right with Foot of Gork. On the other Flank I took 1 wound off the other Chariot with my Shaman. My Orc Shaman thumped 5 Spearmen with Fists of Mork.
The White Lions charged my Black Orcs but only killed 2. My surving Orcs killed 2 Elves in return and my Big Boss cut down the Archmage single handedly, the Mages puny attack bouncing off his tough hide. The White Lions broke but my Black Orcs did not catch them. My Magic seen off the other Chariot.
In my turn my Wolf Chariot used its speed to run down the fleeing White Lions. The Black Orcs advanced with my Squigs as did my other Orcs. My Spiders having rallied ealier now rejoined my battleline. Magic killed a few more Spears and an Archer.
The remaining White Lions turned to face the Squigs and Black Orcs whilst the Bolt Thrower killed my Wolf Chariot. The Archers moved into 2 ranks to allow the other Bolt Thrower a bead on my Orc unit. Their combined fire dropped a few Orcs.
My Orcs Charged the Spearmen whilst the Squigs moved in front of the White Lions. Black Orcs headed at Bolt Thrower. My Black Orc General was cut down by the Elven Noble but my Orcs did not break. The Elvel Noble also lost a wound due to his Talisman of Loec. My Squigs charged the White Lions whilst the Spiders hit their flank. The White Lions killed 2 Squigs, of the 4 left [in my front rank] 2 killed the Mage and the other 2 killed another White Lion. They broke and the Spiders [who lost 1 in the flank charge] ran them down. Magic killed 1 Bolt Thrower crew and the Archers. [Bit mixed up on turns but my Black Orcs got shot down some time in front of the Bolt Throwers lol]
The Bolt Thrower killed my Spiders whilst the other killed my other Chariot. My Orc Champ killed the Elf Noble but my Orcs were beat and fled but managed to escape.
End Game;
My Orcs rallied. I used magic to take the Spearmen below half strength but I couldn't finish the Bolt Throwers. All that was left was 7 Spearmen and 2 Bolt Throwers facing my Orcs and all my Gobbos and Squigs.
Result - Massacre for the Orcs and Gobbos!
I was very pleased with how this game went. I didnt manage to get my double Chariot charge off on the Spears as I needed the Wolf Chariot to run down the White Lions. I thought I'd blew it when my Great Shamans unit failed the Fear Test to charge the Lion Chariot though but my Black Orcs finally come good with some nice positioning. I didnt want to engage those Spears but Fists of Mork levelled the playing field a little and let me do some decent damage. The Bolt Throwers did well for the enemy though. I was pleased with my Magic and Magic Defense, it served me very well and I finally beat the High Elves at 2,000!. So now my Orcs and Gobs stand at 5-2. Snotgobs Waaagh is on 4-2 though.
His Orcs had charged forward with savage ferocity through a hail of bolts and arrows. He urged them on with his magic, smashing chariots and Elven infantry. The Eagles had been brought down by his Crazies.
Snotgob winced as Gnarkill was struck down by the Elven Nobles Great Axe, biting deep into the mighty Orcs ribcage. He trusted in the brutes hardiness though, he would survive. The Nobles glory was short lived as the Orc Boss stepped up to fill the power vacuum. Visions of glory filling its primitive brain. The hulking boss smashed down the Elf.
His spiders had drawn a Chariot towards them, fleeing to leave it stranded away from its lines. 'Chaaaarge!' screamed Snotgob but his unit hesitated around him, unwilling to engage the roaring Lions. Snotgob began to screech in frustration, if the Chariot was allowed to build speed it would be the end of him and his lads. Mustering the energy he controlled he struck the chariot down with a mighty foot of gork. Breathing a sigh of relief as the splinters of the chariot rained down on him and his unit.
He was not out of danger though. The White Lions, enraged at the loss of their kin, marched resoloutly towards him. His Black Orcs, cut off by an arcane wall of fire could not realistically hope to help but help they did. Their leader bellowing for his boys to 'Suck it up!' urging his formation through the flames, many fell around him but they strode on. Roaring in pain and anger. They cut off the Elves and met them in a clash of brutal choppas and Elven axes. Their veteran leader spying the Elven Wizard headed right at him. Taking his arm off with one sweep of one of his brutal choppas, his other choppa following up and taking the Archmages head.
The Elves now bereft of magical defense began to feel the true onslaught of Snotgobs power. They could not stand before such wrath and fled the field of battle, Wolves and Spiders hot on their heels.
Snotgob grinned with satisfaction, he had finally crushed the Elves and was free to continue his Waaagh without their pesky intervention. It was now time for the Empire to feel his wrath.

Game 8 - Vs Vampire Counts - 2000
Bit of a missmatch here, my Orcs and Gobs against a pretty powerful Ghoul Horde, I had just beat it with my Daemons so I thought Id take the challenge with my Orcs and Gobs.
After finally ridding himself of the bothersome High Elves, Snotgob has begun his raids into the lands of man. Villages had burned, loot was horded. He was being hounded though. The poncy pointy ears had not wiped out the Ghouls they had faced in the Mountains and a new power had risen to lead to them, they had hunted Snotgobs force down into the lowlands, his army the most ready concentration of food available.
'All da sentries went missin again last night boss' murmered the lumberign Gnarkill, wary of the Shamans wrath. 'Wot!?' Again?!!' Snarled Snotgob 'I av ad enough o'dis' he snapped 'Gavver da lads, we are gonna face them tonight, we cant be eld up any longer!' 'The lads are scared boss, dey says these things smells funny!' 'Tell dem dey will smell funnier when I set their asshairs on fire if they dont shape up!'
Within the hour the army was arrayed, the Wolf Riders rounding the Ghouls up, bringing them to battle. The Ghoul King was more than willing to oblige. One of the forces would eat well tonight.
Ghouls;
Lord; Lvl3, +2 Power Dice, Crown, Sword of Might, Eternal Hatred, Accursed Armour.
This was built to represent a Strogoi, S6, T6, I4, WS4. Hatred.
Thrall; Extra Level, Summon Ghouls, Book. Thrall; Extra Level, Summon Ghouls, Hand of Dust. Thrall; Ghoulkin, Summon Ghouls, Periapt.
Cart; Lodestone Cart; Lodestone 10 Ghouls; 10 Ghouls; 14 Ghouls; 14 Ghouls; Varghulf; 5 Wraiths;
12 Power + 4 Bound.
Early Game
My army surged forwards, my Black Orcs on my left flank, my army line was packed, they faced off against Wraiths, Gobbos inside of them facing off against Ghouls [with my Great Shaman] Big Uns Central with my General and Orc Shaman facing off against the Lords Ghouls. Then more Gobbos, Squigs and my Chariots and Wolves on my right flank facing off against the Varg and 2 more Ghoul Units.
The Spiders hung behin my line, ready to re-inforce where needed.
Magic caused a little damage but not really enough as I failed animosity on one of my Shamans units. I did cause a lot of damage on the Wraiths though.
The Varghulf bombed forwards at the Gobbos who failed animosity on my right, only the Wolf Chariot fled from terror though. It also lost 3 wounds to Fanatics for its trouble.
Wraiths Terror did nothing on my other flank.
I moved my Gobbo Shamans out of their units so they would not die if my units got caght up and run down. My Great Shaman finished off the Wraiths as my Squigs charged a Ghoul unit. My Orcs charged the Lords unit and my Orc Chariot charged another Ghoul Unit.
My Wolves got behind enemy lines and my chariot rallied.
The Squigs wounded a Vampire and won combat with a fair few kills taking them down to 3 models. My Chariot killed its Vamp and won combat, killing some Ghouls with Impact hits, the Orc Crew and Boars spitting the Vamp on Tusks and Spears. Taking them down to 3 models also.
My Orc Big Uns wrecked the Lords unit. This brought the unit down to only the lord and ghast.
Re-Raisning the Ranks
After a devestating turn and havinga Vamp die, the Undead force charges the last un-engaged Ghouls into my Gobbos on my left flank. Who hold and leave the Ghouls open to a flank charge by my black Orcs next turn.
With dice after dice going at Invocation, the 3 units that had each been reduced to 3 models, were all back up to at least 10 each! some close to 20. The Varghulf charged the Night Gobbos in front of it but passed its regen save for crumbling against static res.
My Spiders failed animosity. My Wolves failed a fair test to charge the Ghouls fighting the Chariot on the rear. My Wolf Chariot failed its fear test to charge the flank of the Lords unit. My Black Orcs also failed a fear test to charge the flank of the Ghouls fightng the Gobbos.
On the plus side, magic killed a Cart...
With no support coming into the combats due to Fear. My Chariot loses and is run down, My Orcs continue to fight bravely and take the Lords unit down but lose the Black Orc General Gnarkill to its attacks.
My Gobbos beat the Varg on res but it passes Regen again. My Other Gobbos break from Ghouls with no aid coming from the Black Orcs, but escape.
The only decent combat is my Squigs finishing the unit and Vamp they were fighting.
The Green Line Falters
The Ghouls that beat my Gobbos turn around to face the back of my Orcs. The Ghouls that beat the Chariot turn to face the Squigs Flank. Magic again starts to raise numbers up. Despite my huge dispel pool. The Book of Arkhan goes off to get the Ghouls into the rear of my Orcs, they beat me and run me down, saving their Lord. It does leave them open to a flank charge from my Black Orcs though.
The Varghulf fluffs its attacks against the Gobbos and finallyfails its regen save on its last wound.
My other Gobbos rally.
Magic takes the Vamp Lord down to 1 wound thanks to Foot from both Shamans.
My Black Orcs smash into the Flank of the Ghouls. Causing about 7 wounds, I smash the unit but after the dust clears 1 Ghoul and the Vamp remain.
My Squigs fail animosity so cant turn to face the other Ghoul unit, no worries though, I have 2 other unis to charge them with...
I try to charge the stranded Ghoul unit with the Chariot, fail fear test. My spiders hit the rear but without the support of the Wolf Chariot in the front they lose and are wiped out. This leaves the Ghouls facing the flanks of my squabbling Squigs!. My Wolves did charge the other Cart and wounded it though.
Undead Ascension
The Ghouls now hit the flank of the Squigs, breaking them and damaging my Wolves and Chariot. The 2 models left in the other unit are risen to about 25 Ghouls!, Their Lord supports them with a charge and my Black Orcs are butchered. Both the Lord and the Ghouls pursuing them off the board.
My Wolves finish off the Corpse Cart.
One of the rouge fanatics smashes right into my Goblin Shaman on my last turn! This turns the game from a draw to a win for the Vamps!
My Chariot and Wolves again both fail Fear tests to charge the depleted Ghoul unit!. Magic also fails to finish them thanks to the Fanatic splatting my Shaman.
The Vamp Lord and now massive Ghoul unit return to the board and use magic to kill my Wolves and to heal the Vamp Lord.
Result - Very Minor Victory to Vampire Counts
I think I played really well here but Animosity, god knows how many failed fear tests to charge, my Fanatic sniping my Shaman last turn and the shocking Vamp Count magic phase stopped me pullingout the win. I was a few models away Massacreing the Vamps a few turns in only to have it all turn around in 1 magic phase and a few failed fear tests.
I still would have got the draw if it wasnt for that Fanatic last turn. I think this was a tough match up but I feel I could win it with a little less bad luck.
It did finish with me having 2 big Gobbo Units and a Wolf Chariot against 1 big Ghoul Unit and a tiny Ghoul Unit. It would have been interesting to see how a few more turns would have swung things in what was a very back and forth battle. Congrats to my opponent though, many people would have conceeded when I had him on the ropes like I did. Just shows what you can do if you play on, a few failed fear tests can turn a game.
Snotgob was gasping with exhaustion. He had exerted himself too much with his Shamanic powers. Their forces had torn each other apart. That blasted Ghoul King had been stomped twice by the foot of almighty gork himself but the wounds had healed before Snotgobs eyes.
His Loyal but weary Night Goblins rallied around him for another assault on the remaining Ghouls and his Chariot continiued to circle the enemy, unwilling to get to close to the creatures. Snotgob waved off the assault.
'Nah, leave it lads' he shouted 'Dey aint worth it' he muttered under his breath.
The few remaining Ghouls would have plenty of food to last them months and he still had the core of his army. They would bother him no longer, he would be free to continue his Waaagh.
'Go wake up Gnarkill, the big wolly got himself biffed by dat fat ghouly, and tell dem chariot boys dat I want wurds!

Game 9 - Vs High Elves - 2000This is another match against the High Elf list I originally faced. As its just another Re-Match I wont bother with any fluff for this one as I cant really write High Elves into it anymore! Magic The Elves chose fire and got all besides Head and Sword, the small mage with Ball and Wall. I got some rubbish spells!, My Orc got 1 and 2, my Gobbo got 1 and 6 [the worst spells in the lore!] my Great Shaman got all besides Foot and Fix It [My Fave spells!]. DeploymentI had my Battle Line tight as usual to benefit from my Generals Ld8. My Gobbos with Lvl2 Shaman on my left, with the Black Orcs inside them. My Orcs with General in the centre. My Orc Chariot on their left with my Gobs with Great Shaman, then Wolf Chariot and Squigs and Fast Cav on my far right flank. The Squigs and Fast Cav just out of the Generals Ld range. The Elves had a Lion Chariot-Eagle Combo on my Left Flank, Lions with Lvl2 and the Spears with Noble in the centre. Other Chariot Eagle Combo on my right flank along with the other Lions with Archmage. The Bowmen were on my far right and both Bolt Throwers on a hill at the back of the Elven Lines. Early MovesI got first turn and had to move agressively to get my spells in range. Despite that I only killed 1 Eagle and dropped a couple of White Lions. The remaining Eagle moved to release my Fanatics on my right, killing the Eagle but leaving one right in front of my lines. Magic and Shooting wounded my Orc Chariot badly and killed a Spider Rider. Animosity really let me down with both my Gobbo units failing, stunting my magic phase which would leave the Lion Chariots free to hammer my lines next turn. To prevent this I moved my Chariots for potential counter charges and slowed down my advance on my left to give me another turn to kill that Chariot. My Wolves failed a Fear Test to charge the Archers but my Spiders passed and Killed 1 Archer after losing 1 to stand and shoot, the combat was a draw. The Elves advanced agressivly, with a Lion Unit getting right in the face of my Black Orcs to force my hand and the Spears doing the same to my regular Orcs. The Chariots though were not so agressive and moved cautiously forward. The other unit of Lions stayed close to the Archers who wiped my Spider Riders out. Magic and Shooting downed both my Chariots though which would make life hard, Wall of Fire also went off on my Squigs. Main ClashMy Wolves got a flank charge off on the Lion Chariot, passing the fear test thankfully whilst I moved my Night Gobs back into my battle line. This released some Fanatics through the White Lions in frontof my Black Orcs, wrecking the unit badly. I sent one out to block the Chariot on my left flank though. My magic dispelled Wall of Fire and caused a bit of damage on the White Lions hanging back. I killed the Lvl2 mage that had disengaged from the agressive Lion unit earlier too with a magic missile. The Wolves wounded and broke the Chariot only losing 1 of their number, they ran it down and went into the flank of the spears. They faught again and lost combat but held. The now depleted Lions on my left flank went for broke and charged my Black Orcs. The Lion Chariot charged my Wolf Riders that had hit the Spears. Wiping them out. This left it in a dangerous position in front of my lines though. My Black Orcs cut down 2 White Lions leaving just the Champ. Magic and Shooting thinned my Squigs. My Orcs smashed into the Spears my General avoiding the Noble due to earlier positioning. My Gobbos with Great Shaman charged the stranded Lion Chariot. The Squigs advanced knowing i was out of charge range, I then used Hand of Gork to smash them into the flank of the Lions next to the Archers though. In combat the Orcs smashed the Spear Elves and overran into the Gobbo - Chariot combat. Meaning I won that easy, making the Chariot flee off the board. My Squigs did a fair bit of Damage on the White Lions. Mopping UpThe Archers charged the flank of my Squigs, seeing my unit beaten and broken but further damaging the Lions. Shooting and Magic thinned down my Orc unit quite considerably as my Gobbos and Black Orcs marched on the Bolt Throwers. By the team my Orcs hit the White Lions I was down to about 5 models, At the end of the game it was just my General left slugging it out with a White Lion Champion. My Gobbos couldnt reach the Bolt Throwers in time but killed 1 off with magic anyway. Leaving the enemy with 1 Bolt Thrower, 5 Archers and a White Lion Champ. I had both Gobbo units, my General, all my Heros besied my Orc Shaman, and my Black Orcs. Result - Solid Victory to the Orcs and Gobs! I was 100 VP's off a Massacre, thanks to that White Lion Champ holding out. I'm finally coming good against the High Elves, my subtle list changes have really made a difference. I'm dealing with those chariots much better now to, which is helping out a lot. Im now 6-3 with my Orcs and Gobs. Dark Elves or Blood Dragons will be their final opponent in this set of 10 Games I think. Im going to run with my Middenheim Empire or Dwarfs next. I will do a fluff piece for my last SnotGob game no matter who its against.

Game 10 - Vs Vampire Counts - 2000
My last game for a while with Snotgob.
Didn't go well at all. I was wiped out in my 5th Turn. My opponent had roughly;
Blood Dragon Lord; Red Fury, Dread Knight, +1 to raise Skellies, Dreadlance, 4+ Ward.
3 Blood Dragons on Foot ; All Level 2 with Hand Wep, Heavy Armour and Shields.
3 Units of 20 Skellies; Blood Knights; Black Knights with the Lord; 2 Units of Wolves;
The first few turns were not too bad but it all fell apart when my plans to halt the enemy knights failed. I was dominating the magic phase and so moved my Black Orcs up so that I could charge the Lords Black Knights with Hand of Gork. I miscast, messing that plan up.
I charged the Blood Knights with a chariot but only getting 1 Impact Hit also messed that plan up and the Chariot was beaten and broken.
I tried to salvage the right flank but my Orc Chariot failing its fear test and my Wolves failing theres to support with a Flank Charge left my Squigs exposed to 2 units seeing them eventually beaten.
My Gobbos started breaking and my Orcs were smashed by the Bloodknights.
Snotgob did pass many fear and panic tests though, even as Gobbos and Orcs fled through him, he did some damage with magic and was my last model, defiantly taking a charge from the Blood Knights and getting cut down. In all I only got points for eating a Vamp with Squigs and killing all the Wolves.
I guess it was a fitting end for the series as it was their last game so the Waaagh had to falter.
Result - Massacre to the Vampire Counts
So they finished on 6-4
Snotgobs Waaagh had brought the attention of the Undead back to him. A mighty Blood Dragon Lord and his force stood before the Greenskins, seeking a challenge worthy of his attention.
The greenskin horde was vast, ragged banners held high, screams and roars rang out from the Orc and Goblin army. The Waaagh was in full swing...
The Undead Knights charged through the thick of the battle, Snotgob was shocked at their power. Smashing aside all units and formations, his army was being torn to pieces by their brutality and martial skill. He screamed in frustration as his once mighty force fled around him, he broke the nose of a Goblin with his staff as it fled past him. He hissed and gathered his power to him releasing his fury at the charging knights he cut 2 down from their saddles. This got their attention and they turned their horses ready to exact their revenge....
His army destroyed Snotgob screamed again with rage, his dreams of conquest were shattered and he would make somebody pay even if it would cost him his life. He blasted another dark knight down and as they reached him he shouted his challenge. Snotgob drew his staff back and readied himself to swing it with all his might but before his swing hit home, a Lance punched through his thigh, smashing him to the ground...
He lay in agony on the blood soaked ground as the Undead left the field of battle, their need for a challenge met, as he lost more and more blood Snotgobs vision began to fade, his Waaagh was over.
Orcs and Gobs Final Tally;
6 Wins 4 Losses
Vampire Counts - Massacre Vampire Counts - Massacre Vampire Counts - Minor Loss Vampire Counts - Massacre Loss Dwarfs - Massacre High Elves - Massacre High Elves - Massacre High Elves - Solid Victory High Elves - Solid Loss High Elves - Minor Loss

I need to read this more closely, I just read your lists, the first and last 3 reports, and the fluff, but man it was very well done. d**n those knights....
It could probably flow as a stand alone story, and with your writing skills it would be quite good.
