I was curious. If I magnetized the feet of a bunch of generic ork boyz, would it be kosher to swap between square and round bases so i could play both 40k and WHF? I don't don't have the WHF book so i don't know if ork have any guns but surely it might work with slugga boyz?

It would only work if all your Slugga Boys had either Black Powder Pistols or 2 none motorized Choppas.
What you could do is use Fantasy Orcs with 2 Choppas as 40K Ork Slugga Boys. Just keep them on the square bases, you dont even need to magnetise them, bases just dont matter in 40K, so square bases will work just fine.

yeah, lookin at the models on GW it looks tougher then i thought. I may just have to get some and see if maybe i can work an arm sway or something. thought that may not be effective money wise. those little magnets can be pricey!

If the 40k arms fit the whfb bodies or the other way round, you could get them off a bit site, and pin them on, so you can easily change them.
