Having purchased the new Orcs and Gobbos Army Book today, I'm unsure wether to use Netters for my Night Goblins or not . I like the Netter models and I really like the idea. But is it really worth it? Even in a unit of 40 Gobbos, your looking at the Netters making every Gobbo a point more expensive, so with Spears, your looking at 5 point Goblins, which I dont think is really woth it. Anybody else use them?. I guess they would seriously limit the amount of Gobbo casualties against most basic enemy infantry, which coupled with Rank Bonus and outnumbering may see the Gobbos actually win a combat, but Im still undecided as to wether they are worth the points or not.

I haven't got my codex on me, so I'm unsure of the specifics, but I imagine if you got a unit of netters flanking a unit your Orcs/Blorcs or whatever just charged, it'd make a massive difference to the combat. You'd get the flank bonus as well as giving them -1 strength, which should be enough to give anything a beating.
I've not used them before but I've always thought if used in conjunction with a meaner unit they sound like a great deal.
If you use them, let me know how it goes!
