Okay... So Gobbo Chariots are 20 points less than Orc ones.
Apart from the obvious WS and Ld.
The only disadvantage a Gobbo Chariot has over the Orc one is one less toughness point and one less wound.
Is that Toughness and wound point really worth 20 points?
Especially when the Gobbo makes it up by being able to take a third wolf, has another 2" of movement and have bows?
Also, why is an Orc the same Strength as a gobbo?

Um... choppa, but yeah, good point. Personally, I just didn't use chariots with my orcs, maybe because one alone sucks, or maybe because mine scared me and I gave it away because it was terribley unlucky, almost killing me...

The chariot does not benefit from the Choppa special rule.

Don't forget that the boar chariot has +1 ld to the wolf chariot, and the most important bit, is tusker charge, wolfs get d6 +1 str 5, but the boar get d6 +1 str 7! attacks for impact. Chariots are mainly used because of the impact hits, and the boar chraiot has way better impact hits then the wolf chariot.

I think you are confused onhow Chariots work Morglum.
A Chariot gets D6 Impact hits at the actual strength of the Chariot. +1 Hit for Scythes.
Now why to take an Orc one?
You pay 20 points a wound for the Wolf Chariot [60 points/3 wounds]. So for a 4 woundWolf Chariot you wold pay 80 points. The Orc one IS 4 wounds with better stats, crew and steeds.
The extra toughness stops it dying to any magic missile that comes its way like the Wolf one.
The Orc crew have Spears so it doesn't matter that the Choppa rule doesn't work.
Tuskgors are S5 on the charge. Meaning the Orc Chariot is a great hero killer. You charge in, contact the hero, the impact hits damage the unit whilst your 3 S4 and 2 S5 [as you should always buy the extra crew] kill the hero by allocating attacks.
The Goblin Wolf chariots main asset is its speed, allowing it to get the charge off on Cav etc. Which is very useful. Both have their place in the army.
