Hi, First off im not going to make this a poll, as then you can't say why you think it. And secondly, this is so a freind of mine can choose which army to collect (he loves magic!). So, which army do you think has the best magic in the games, and why?

It almost always depends on what you are facing.
Light is amazing against Undead and Daemons. Slaanesh Daemon Lore is amazing against low Ld armies Nurgles Lore against Elves. Fire vs Wood Elves. Life against Gunlies etcetc
Personally my Faves from the regular 8 are Fire just because I love the imagery of Fire Wizards plus it comes in handy with how many units have Regenerate now.
Beasts because it is a well rounded useful Lore and Light because it helps combat the two most powerful armies out there in Vampire Counts and Daemons.

The Tzeentch lore has 5 great spells, with Firestorm being useless. However, much of its' utilization has gone down since the FAQ. The Slaanesh lore is simply ungodly if you run a level 4 Kipper and the Masque, and the Icon of Despair. Minues 3-5 ld or 3d6 discarding the lowest combines with Slicing Shards which causes d6 str5 hits, causing a nother d6 if the opponent fails a leadership test afterwards, and continuing until the opponent does pass a check. So usually the test is on ld 2-6 on 3d6 pick the highest. The 6 is Dwarfs when the Masque is unlucky, the 2 is Empire when the Masque is lucky.
I vote for either Slaanesh or Nurgle. Vampire Lore is the best when used properly, but can be a bit boring because there's never any variation in your magic phases. Still, Vampire is the single most solid Lore, and the Standard of Sundering can't touch the second best spell in the lore, Invocation. I'm really, really bitter about that nonsensical ruling.
