We all have faced a character/monster that we are affraid of, those of us with fairly tight knit gaming groups no doubt have reputations regarding certain ones.
What are yours?
My Nemesis of late has been a Chracian High Elf Noble with Great Axe and Talisman of Loec.
I hate fighting him. Last game out he took 3 wounds off a regenerating Great Unclean One. He has killed my Black Orc Big Boss, Thyrus Gorman, numerous other Sorcerers, swaths of my Troops. I usually kill him but he exacts a heavy toll and makes the Spearmen he joins very hard to beat.
An old enemy of mine is a certain Warlock Engineer with all the goodies and Storm Daemon. He once Warp Lightninged a whole unit of Chaos Chosen to death [12], the one survivor he shot down with his pistol. In 1 turn. I took great satisfaction every time my Chaos Dragon ate that annoying rat.

Hmm... I do have a tight-knit gaming group, but I mean... I've not had any trouble with much of anything in particular, other than Helf spearmen in general. It's not cool that they get to fight in 3 ranks, and my usualy opponent always takes them 7 wide. That's 22 attacks on the turn I charge, because Vampire Counts don't hurt things at a range. That's what my Grave Guard are for though, they can punch through anything with ease.
Maybe other people would label my Grave Guard, or Konrad in particular, as their nemesis?

Yeah, High Elf Spearmen are a total pain. I've taken to just hitting them with multiple chariots.

I think the main thing that i have trouble with is a wood elf treeman, but everyone else seems to handle it with ease. I think i just have a knack of getting beaten up by it.
On the other hand many people have problems with the varghulf, but ive not had any trouble...
I can certainly imagine that The Masque that i use could be a nightmare to deal with, but so far she has only served as an anti nemesis, and has completely failed to hit everything she came up against. Her most spectacular moment was getting beaten in combat and killed by the crew of a high elf bolt thrower...

I came up with one - a 130 point High Elf Shadow Warrior Noble armed with Heavy Armour, a Great Weapon, and a Longbow. We affectionatley refer to him as Stone Cold Steve Austin.
He has single-handedly (and I do mean him alone, after his Shadow Warriors are all dead) slaughtered 40 models and 3 units of Wood Elves over the course of 2 games. And in roll-offs he dealt 3 wounds to a Lord of Change before getting the squish.
He's just inhuman.

HE characters with Great Weapons are always a pain. Be thankful that guy doesn't take the Talisman of Loec.
Killers like that are deadly against Wood Elves, their small units easily beaten.
