I love Warhamer Fantasy and think it is a brilliant game with very few problems. GW's Sci-Fi game on the other hand -40k, is riddled with problems so ive been looking for a different decent Sci-Fi model game. Ive found Void and it really is pretty cool, all the rules are free to download. Some of the models are aweful but some are great, I think it is the fact that all the codex's (well Voids equivelant) and the rule book are free to download has swayed me. They also do a Fantasy game but it really isnt upto GW's Fantasy game. www.urbanmammoth.com/um/html/home.htm

I had a look at Urban War and I think the models are amazing. They're also very applicable for use in 40k. Viridians - Imperial Guard Gladiators - Inquisition Triads - Imperial Guard/Inquisition Koralons - Tzeentch Junkers - Inquisition VASA - Imperial Guard Syntha would be the only ones that don't fit directly into an army but they could still be used. Koralons could also be used for Tzeentch in Fantasy, and Lizardmen.
I like the idea of how Metropolis expands on Urban War. It makes it easy to start off and then advance further. Metropolis also offers a much wider range of miniatured for each race.
I'm now considering actually downloading the rules and trying out the game. Definitely want some models.
