Elathain did not trust Hawk one bit, and everything Hawk has done has made him even more untrustworthy to Elathain.
The next day was completely uneventful until they got to the mountains.

Danzig sat on the roof of the coach and let the fith bottle of vodka roll away, he held his head in his hands he had failed himself, broke the oath that he made so long ago to his father, he had faced the children of chaos in battle and he had let some live, this would be the first and only time he would let this happen he will come back seek out the beastmen and slay them all, but first he had to bring a bloodly and brutal end to this ludwig, he has an army at his back now and we have so few, mused Danzig, should be fun and with that he reached for another bottle of vodka out of his pack

Skragg was pulling the coach. The horses had done enough for today so he had taken over. His muscle was needed in the warband and he knew that. Infact he liked the thought that he was needed. He had given his vodka to Danzig to help his friend. He hoped he was ok now. Heknew he had been shuck up by the fight and he had not taken the fact well that some had escaped. He hoped that his old friend would be okay.
He had been given a replacement cannon by Hawk. He was pleased with this aswell. He knew about the foe they where to encounter. The heavy firepower might be needed after all.
Pulling kept his strength up. He didnt want to fall asleep or be caught offguard. Never would he be the weak link. He intended to prove himself. And with that the cart picked up pace towards their destination.

Valmont joined Danzig on the roof of the coach were they recounted past adventures they had been through together.
The sky was deep red as the sun fell down behind the distant horizon. A picture of serenity, for a rare moment Valmont felt totally at ease, at peace.
Suddenly the serenity was shattered as one of the two Norse caravan guards that were scouting ahead, began blasting his horn, riding at full pace back towards the them, covered in blood and sporting a number of severe wounds,
His fellow tribesmen caught him as he fell from his horse. Valmont watched on anxiously.
The leader of the Norse confronted Hawk and his rag-tag band of adventurers.
'They were attacked at a cave entrance about a mile up the road, he reported that two heavily armoured undead were guarding the ornate arch leading into the cave and that they were set upon by huge, black, slavering wolves'
The Norse leader spoke in a thick northern accent, which made him extremely difficult to understand but everyone understood the general message. The caravan ride was at an end and the most dangerous part of this job was about to begin.
More blasts from another Norse horn again grabbed their attention. Running down the road towards them were a score of massive black furred wolves.
The Norse leader turned to join his men but as he did another Wolf sprung from the thick forest at the side of the mountain road. Ripping through the leaders face and neck with a savage bite. It leapt again but a Norseman was ready and brought his flail crashing into its body, yet still it was not dead.
Elathian fired three arrows into it to finally bringing the wounded beast down.
As Hawk clambered up the ladder to man a hand-cannon another wolf leapt onto the roof snarling and snapping at all who approached the roof.
Danzig stepped up the ladder and looked the beast in the eyes, a wild, feral look was in the eyes of the Kislevite, something Valmont had never seen before. The wolf cowered away, whimpering and as it did Danzig brought his might axe down on its skull.
'What was all that about' Asked Valmont.
The big man just turned away.
The fight between the Norse and the wolves was going badly, only four men remained desperately fighting twice that number of wolves.
Two baited and snapped at Skragg, ducking out of his reach and strikes before biting and tearing into his legs. They were too fast for the ogre.
Valmont’s knives and Elathian’s arrows had very little effect, the huge wolves just ignoring the injuries, it seemed as though once again strength and heavy blows were needed.
The last of the Norse fell, as Hawk frantically loaded the hand-cannon, The remaining wolves advanced.
With a mighty roar the hand-cannon fired turning most of the wolves into a bloody mist. Sending the last few fleeing into the surrounding forest.

Everybody gathered their equipment and set off up the track on foot.
'He must have found an ancient crypt of some sort' said Elathian
'It must be something of great power and evil if he has stopped whilst being pursued' replied Hawk
'He must be stopped, before he can complete whatever diabolical evil he is planning' Elathian continued.
With that the sun finally set and the darkness closed in around them.
'Fuc**ing brilliant' said Valmont spitefully, his spite no doubt aimed at any of the old world gods willing to listen.
Danzig pulled up his hood and fell back slightly from the group.
Up ahead they could see the cave entrance and its two skeletal guards, both wielding rusted pole-arms and ancient armour, illuminated by a full moon.

My arrows will have litte efect on the bones of the undead. unless it can rip them or knock them apart. skragg was walking towards them cannon in hand. Elathina smiled as he took out his blades. Valmont and Danzig too out there weapons as well.
Skragg jumped over the hill and shot at the skellitons with random things he had put in the cannon, and the skellitons bones skattered under the force. The rest of them charged into the cave and the battle was on.

Hawk swung his blade, unleashing the fireball spell bound within. The blast immolated two skeletons, yet they marched on regardless. One got within weapon reach of Danzig when, bones cracking with the heat, he came apart. The other seemed fine, and was only laid low by a fierce axe-blow that sliced him in two.
One of the Wolves returned, leaping at Skragg. Having no time to reload the cannon, he simply used it as a club, and the Wolf was sent flying back into the cave.
Hawk led the assault, ducking and parrying as he went. Two quick-swings disarmed and decapitated his first opponent, but the second dealt him a massive blow to the chest. He fell, cursing, but kicked the Undead's legs out from beneath him. Valmont leapt upon the prone creature, hacking its spine apart with precise blows.
Hawk staggered to his feet, and brushed off his armour. "Not even a scratch," he grinned, but everyone could tell the blow had hurt him as he was breathing hard. "Perhaps-" Hawk didn't give the Elf time to finish, "I'm fine, just bruising. I may not be young anymore, but I'm not a cripple yet... just give me a few minutes to get my breath back, and I'll be fine..."

With a punch Skragg shattered one of the skeletons. Ha, no good dead boy he thought. He swung the hand cannon round and lifted 2 skeletons off their feet, never to walk again as their bones splintered and cracked. Then he saw it.
In the shadows near the elf, who was consumed elegantly dancing around his slower opponents, one of the wolves lept. No time thought Skragg. He charged. No skeleton could stop a rampaging ogre. Many of them crumpled under the shear momentum of the ogre.
Elathain turned. The wolfs eyes and his locked. The elf saw his death. He brought up his blades in an attempt to stop the pouncing wolf. A skeleton ramed its blade into his leg and he fell, taking the skeletons head off with a riposte while he fell. He was prone with no chance of blocking. It pounced. he felt the ground shake.
The wolf pounced, Skragg dove. He takled the wolf mid flight and landed upon it. It ripped at his shoulder, tearing the flesh. Call that a bite Skragg thought. He was disgusted at the creature. He rolled forcing it under him. His bulk crushed it. He rolled again seeing the ghoul. It snarled. He smiled, leveled his pistol, smiled and roared as the bullet took its head clean off.

The party stood victorious, proud of their achievements.
Then they saw it, the spectral image approaching.
It was about seven feet tall, and clothed in a black robe. A leering skull peered from within the hood, and a mighty scythe was born in its hands.
Hawk sighed, "oh f___ off!"
The fireball vapourised the spectre.

Elathain ripped a peice of cloth from his robe and tied it to his leg. "You have may thanks Skragg." Skragg just smiled. "I told ya I'd protect you." With that Skragg picked Elathain up by the arm and put it over his shoulder. The ogre had to bend down so Elathain could walk while leaning on him. "We should look for clues to the location of the vampire." Elathain said. "You should go wait in the coach and take some weight off your leg." Danzig said looking at the cloth wrapped leg. The blood was seeping through the green cloth. "Alright. But we should not dally. be as quick as you can." With that Skragg helped Elathian back to the coach.

Skragg helped the elf back to the coach. He knew the elf maybe in trouble because his bow could not hurt the undead. He had a plan.
'Here you go mate.' he said with a smile and gave the elf one of his precious handguns. 'Take care of that lad'.
Skragg turned to go back to the cave. He hoped the elf would be okay on the coach. In fact he knew he would be. The elf had class. Better than his anyway. Skragg walked to the dismembered skellies and preceeded to load them into the barrel of the hand cannon. He laughed. Time to taste your own medicine boys. And with that, he walked into the rock, shrugged and walked into the cave.
