Whilst hunting through the WFB rulebook, I found a rule that stats you may only fire one weapon in the shooting phase. I know many players (including myself) believed you could fire both, but this is not the case. Skragg and Harlad will not be pleased.

Skragg is not happy at all. He just ate 5 rulebooks saying they where wrong. That aint a good rule in my opinion. Sounds wrong.

Yep you can only use one at range but it does make them much better in combat as even though you only have two pistolsm, all of your attacks will count as such (for the first turn anyway).

So 3 years and 5 months later, another post is born.
Some questions involving Pistols.
1) Does having a pistol and a hand weapon grant you an extra attack in close combat?
2) Do you really get to shoot your pistols in the first round of combat? I assume this is true with a Brace of pistols - is this also true with a normal pistol and hand weapon? Probably not.
3) Can you stand and shoot if your opponent is out of your shooting range when the charge is declared? I hope so.
Thems is all, danke.

Yep you get an extra attack.
No you cant shoot your pistols whilst in close combat anymore. Although Long Drongs Slayer Pirates can because they have their very own pistol rules.
I cant remember to be honest but Im fairly sure Pistols can ALWAYS stand and shoot.
