Lucas Le Sienne is a Mercenary Captain who began his life as a Bretonnian peasant. He grew up in the coastal city of Brionne, but despaired at the life of a peasant. At fifteen, he snuck aboard a travelling ship, and found himself bound for Evadia. There he found work as a Mercenary, a career he took a shine to. Working as a guard for a Grand Caravan, he found himself in Cathay, where he sold his Glaive to the Nam tribe, fighting for the highest bidder in a civil war. Eventually, he returned to the Old World, and found work in Tilea as a bodyguard of a Paymaster. He has recently set out again into the world, seeking a new adventure that he will almost certainly find...
For Hire: Lucas Le Sienne may be taken as a Hero choice in any army, except Bretonnians, Chaos, Chaos Dwarfs, Dark Elves, Orks and Goblins, Skaven, Tomb Kings and Vampire Counts. He counts as a Hero choice, and may be the army general.
Equipment: Glaive (Halberd), Light Armour, Pendent De Lis.
SPECIAL RULES:
Prayers to The Lady: Whilst not a Knight, and despite fleeing his country, Lucas still believes in the Lady of the Lake, and it seems the Lady does indeed smile upon him.
If Lucas remains stationary for the first turn (eg: stops to pray), then he gains a 5+ Ward Save. If he is with a unit at the start of the battle, they too will gain this Ward Save, so long as the unit does not move on the first turn.
Pendent De Lis: This Pendent is a lucky charm carried by Lucas all his life, and seems to protect him from the perils of battle. It grants Lucas, and any squad he leads, have Magic Resistance (1).
