Golems are constructs built by ancient Mages. Few know how to command them, and fewer still can build them.
Golems are mindless creatures, commanded into battle by mages. A Golem can fight on against seemingly impossible odds, as it knows neither fear nor pain.
Most Golems are a head taller than an Ogre, although they can potentially be of any size.
Golem Rules:
All Golems are subject to the following rules:
Unbreakable: Golems are totally fearless, and will fight until destroyed, or the magic that powers them fails.
Stupidity: Unless Commanded by a Mage (see below), Golems suffer from Stupidity.
Command: You must include at least one Mage in the army for each Golem you bring. The Mage is given the means to command the Golem. Doing this consumes D3 Power Dice from the pool, representing the energy needed to steer the construct. If insufficient Dice are present, then the Golem suffers from Stupidity anyway, but gains +1 Leadership per Power Dice used.
This ability cannot be Dispelled by any means. Only the selected Mage can command a Golem, no-one else.
Cause Fear: Golems are frightening foes, and thus case Fear.
Iron Golem:
Iron Golems have served Evadia for as long as anyone can remember. These towering figures of steel and black-iron are horrific foes that strike fear into the hearts of men. How many exist is unknown, as new Golems are discovered from time to time, whilst others break down and stop working completely.
Tom Hawk is known to own at least four of these beasts, a fact which many an invader deeply regretted!
