Did it with Heavy Cav, so I thought I may as well with Light Cav too.
I'd say this would have to be Wild Riders.
Fear on the Charge along with S5, Magical Attacks, Immune to Psychology, Extra Attacks in none charging rounds of combat, Really fast steeds, Ward Save.
Dark Riders are a good choice though, good firepower and decent in combat. Spider Riders special rules always comes in handy too.

Depends on what you are looking for. Glade Riders are the best mounted, ranged unit, and fit the definition of Light Calvary better than Wild Riders do. I'd actually put them in Heavy Cavalry.

Well, by light Cavalry I mean Fast Cavalry. Theres no way that any unit that can move as Fast Cav could be counted as Heavy Cav.
I don't think Glade Riders compare at all to Wild Riders, hardly any more points for the Wild Riders and all the Glade Riders have going for them is about 5-6 regular bow shots. Your looking at killing something like 1 Imperial Swordsman with that.

I voted for Dark Riders. [Sorry Gork and Mork].
When used well they can be a pain. They have strong Crossbows and when there are two units of Dark Riders with Crossbows, one on each flank, they become a real thorn in the side.
